My Name is Taylor Shields. Father of four, musician, gamer and creator of PalmToms.
PalmToms will completely change how musicians, DJ's and dancers create music, beats and sounds to dance to, sing to and play to.
I started developing PalmToms in 2010. They are now almost ready for the world to enjoy.
With over 100 million views, many viral videos and 100,000's of positive comments it's now time to get them into everyone's hands.

PalmToms are wireless, bluetooth magic that become part of your body. Every move you make can be almost any sound or instrument you want to play.

This campaign will help get PalmToms into the final phases and into production. I have spent years and over $500,000 to get them where they are today and they are truly the most awesome instruments/controllers you can have in the palms of your hands.
I will need $80,000 CAD to help get the app and molds done. Any extra will help greatly.
With your donations and help from my family and friends, we can get PalmToms last refinements completed and into the molds and packaging process.

In these videos you can see the mass production prototype we've built. It's been several months and lots of hard work, but there's still work left to be done:
The PalmToms app is planned, designed, and an early Mac OS version has been created, but the iOS and Android version still needs to be coded.
The software and firmware have all been rewritten.
The hardware and mold designs are in the final stages.
The app is next to be completed. Your funding will be used to create a very simple app that will allow you to choose instruments and create your own custom controllers.

Then off to manufacturing.
If we don't reach our goal I will take on investors to make up the rest of the funding.
Backers will get the very first versions of PalmToms for a donation of $159 CAD, far cheaper than they'll be on the shelves (we expect a $215 CAD MSRP - about $169 USD).
The Impact
I've spoken with some of the top educators, autism, and rehabilitation organizations around the world, and they all can't wait to get these into their kid's hand to play and speak. Imagine all the ways schools can use PalmToms to teach students of all ages musical scales and rhythms without changing and cleaning instruments and spreading germs!
PalmToms was chosen as best music innovation by the Gann Music Academy.
Not only will PalmToms revolutionize music and gaming, they will also speak for those who have no voice. I have been working with many Autism and rehabilitation organizations and the kids and adults that have tried these have had amazing results.
