Summary
Hello, I'm Pandora Boxx and you may know me as a three time non-winner of RuPaul's Drag Race. I am very excited that work on my debut album is almost complete! It's been a dream project for as long as I can remember and through the help of crowd funding I was able to make it happen. Now I want to do a bit more with the album and create a music video for one of the tracks as well as some visualizations for other tracks. I really feel this will bring even more attention to the album. It will also really help solidify my dream project. I'm hoping that, with your help, I can make this a reality. If everyone from my social media following donated even $1-5 I'd be completely set for this project!
What We Need & What You Get
Good music videos are not cheap. The $10k may seem like a lot but when it comes to video production it isn't. There is a whole team behind any video and everyone needs to get paid fairly. If I made more than my goal, I could do more with the videos. I wanted to do an amount that would give me enough to at least the music video. It's also exciting to have people like you to follow me on the journey. You'll get the first updates and the first look at the video. I'm excited to have some really fun incentives and perks too!
The Impact
The songs on this album are the most personal I've ever done. I really want to make visuals for it because I think the songs will resonate with a lot of people. There's even a song which stands proudly against the "Don't Say Gay" legislation that has been passed. I want people to feel good about themselves and I think some of these songs do just that.
I ran a successful crowd-funding campaign that was funded in three days. I'm so thrilled that people believed in me. I hope that people will see this campaign and be excited to be a part of it.
Risks & Challenges
The challenge is that if this doesn't get funded, I won't be able to do the visualizations that I have my heart set on. I think there still will be some but in a very limited capacity.
