The Impact
As we extend our support to small press and independent experiments in publishing and ephemera, we also attempt an aesthetic mix of the art of the moment. We borrow and cultivate the art and artists influencing us currently; the impact of such a process is always fresh, always varied.
Our process serves and exemplifies the visions and choices of alternative doing and making.
What We Need & What You Get
We need to cover our expenses, which are primarily day calls for technical assistance—lights, sound board, sound designs, set-up/strike, agent tabling and door/admissions. Additional underwriting we’ll use to pay for our supplies, including film and paper. We structure intended compensation along the lines of day stipends with priority given to technical assistance and facilitation of our core production values.
We definitively raise people’s labor over the acquisition of stuff!
With your donation you will receive an admissions voucher to Paper Kingdom along with a CD mix of collaborating friends’ music (originally a companion to the small press project Fragments). Packaged by hand with attention and care, the CD includes tracks by Marefumi Komura, Gretta Harley directing the Seattle Chamber Players, Climax Golden Twins, and a rare banjo solo by Jeffery Taylor.
For our voucher/CD incentive we ask for a minimum donation of $15.
You also receive our sincere appreciation and thanks.
Other Ways You Can Help
We like reasonable volunteers. We also plan to present and serve oranges, tangerines, tangelos, etc., between media presentations. Consider bringing organic citrus fruit to share on August 11.
Thank you.
