Who We Are
Representation matters, but it is twofold. For too long queer stories have lived on the periphery of narratives explored on stage and in film. It is not enough to just tell the stories of queer individuals, it is imperative that we are included in the creation of them.
Here. strives to champion the work of LGBTQ+ artists, by presenting traditional narratives through a queer perspective. We invite audiences to break down the boundaries within their imagination and experience a world in which our narrative is ever present.
Our inaugural production, Paramour, is a multi-generational LGBTQ love story that examines the intricacies and sacrifices of queer love through the use of heightened language.

What We Need & What You Get
With your support, we were able to raise $3,605 in our initial campaign. These funds allowed us to secure a beautiful performance venue in downtown Manhattan for our production this July. We were also able to invest in promotional photos as well as put our money towards renting rehearsal spaces and other pre-production costs.
We are proud to have raised 72% of our goal in the first campaign, this time we are hoping to make up the difference. The funds we raise in this campaign will go towards:
- Rehearsal space
- Costumes
- Props and set pieces
- Insurance and other incidentals
The Impact
All too often queer artists are left out of the telling of our own stories and we are trying to change that. Here. hopes to bring LGBTQ+ art made by LGBTQ+ artists to the forefront of our society. Your support, in the form of a campaign contribution or social media shout out, brings us one step closer to our ultimate goal--changing the way our culture values LGBTQ+ artists.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you can't contribute monetarily, please share our campaign! Sharing this campaign on social media, in LGBTQ+ advocacy groups, artist groups, and on your personal pages would be a big help in getting our mission out into the world!
If you read this campaign and know of artists in your community who may wish to be involved, please pass this along. We hope to expand our network of queer artists of every discipline and would appreciate your help in connecting us.
With heartfelt gratitude and much love,
