Paul is a music writer for the online magazine, Stereo Embers Magazine, and has been a big champion of Elephant Stone. We have become close friends over the past few years. He and his wife have come upon difficult times, and I need your help. Paul and Katie both suffer from chronic diseases. Paul has a chronic, life-threatening illness (Cardiomyopathy/Congestive Heart Failure), and Katie suffers from a multitude of debilitating illnesses that prevent her from holding a job, driving, and even being on her own. Paul has to be at home to take care of Katie and drive her to her regular doctors' appointments. Currently, the possible diagnoses include lupus and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which could be life-threatening. They will visit the University of Wisconsin-Madison in February for the genetic testing necessary for an EDS diagnosis. What this means is that neither of them is able to currently work, and their bills are piling up. They were recently refused permanent disability insurance and are appealing the decision.  So, until the decision is (hopefully) reversed, I'm hoping to raise enough funds to get them through the next few months. These are people I care deeply about, and I would really appreciate your support in helping them through this difficult time.
