Cats shed fur all day, and because it's scattered everywhere, you might not realize how much there is. But before you notice your home is covered in cat hair and needs a deep clean, your furry friends have already been licking and swallowing a ton of it every day. That can lead to serious health issues like hairballs. So, the key to sparing your cats from the misery of hairball problems is to brush them daily.

The fully automatic 24/7 360-degree grooming device, features six grooming rollers designed to mimic a mother cat grooming her kittens, along with an intelligent treat dispenser. Jos's cats voluntarily use it more than three times a day for comprehensive 360-degree grooming care.

Step 1: The auto-feeder in the crate gives out yummy snacks, tempting cats to enter through the machine's round opening.

Step 2: At the machine's entrance, there are 6 cylindrical brushes arranged in a circle, designed to mimic the papillae on a cat's tongue. As kittens pass through this circular ring, the rolling brush gently presses against them, continuously grooming their fur, and the brushes can also move back and forth to conform to the curves of the cat's body. The cylindrical brushes are arranged with teeth shaped, sized, and textured like the papillae on a cat's tongue, effectively removing loose fur from the cat's body surface, similar to how a mother cat grooms her kittens.

Step 3: As the cylindrical brushes, carried by the cat, rotate, each rolling brush automatically collects the groomed cat fur into a collection box. When the cat fur builds up in the collection box, all you have to do is lift the entire unit and remove the collected cat fur from the inside.

The feeder comes with an advanced biological sensor that tracks when your cat uses the grooming device. By scanning the QR code on the feeder, you can view today's entry count, total count, the specific times of the last four entries, and the status of snack feeding.

A Chance Encounter

PawSwing is the brainchild of Andrew Tian, a dynamic entrepreneur with a background in automation and a talent for technology development. His passion for innovation has earned him remarkable success in prestigious robotics competitions, including RoboMaster, the NXP Smart Car Challenge, and the Chinese Engineering Robot Contest.

In the summer of 2019, while heading home from the robotics lab, Andrew heard a faint meow. Following the sound, he found a small kitten, covered in mud, huddled in a corner. Without hesitation, he took the kitten to the vet for a thorough checkup. He named the kitten Orange, and from that moment, Orange became an important part of Andrew's life, sparking a new chapter.

As Orange grew, he began shedding more frequently, and grooming became a challenge. Every time Andrew tried to comb his fur, Orange would fiercely resist—biting, scratching, or trying to escape. This made Andrew wonder: are all cats resistant to grooming? To find out, he visited other cat owners and conducted a survey. The results showed that more than half of the cats exhibited strong resistance to grooming, often with mild aggression.

This realization inspired Andrew to take action. He set out to develop innovative products that not only make grooming easier but also improve the overall comfort and well-being of pets and their owners. Thus, PawSwing was born out of this heartfelt experience.
