Summary
The Need
Students in higher education need to be better connected, to encourage the free flow of ideas and knowledge among students. We at Peersview have taken up this challenge to break the geographical barriers limiting collaboration and networking opportunities for students.
Understanding the Digital Campus
Peersview also provides the opportunity for every college and university to connect their students via a private digital campus. The Digital campus is a portal where the current students of an academic institution can collaborate with fellow students in their Classes or in other Campuses and Departments.
Note: Students can only join or create a digital campus with their assigned edu-email.

Why we need your support
We have been working on Peersview for 2 years and we've come a long way. But now we need your help. By contributing to this project, you help us embed knowledge sharing into higher education for good! Our campaign to raise $100,000 will allow Peersview to grow its community of students.
Let's make our higher education communities closer and more connected.
So why should you support us?
- Peersview is the best exclusive social network for college and university students.
- We are creating a global ecosystem for the next generation of students.
- Our student community needs to continue growing; therefore we need funding to invest in targeted marketing. The larger the community becomes, the better the user experience Peersview can deliver.
- We want to continue improving on our strengths in helping students collaborate and crowd-source information more efficiently.
- We provide the best communication and collaboration tools suitable for Distant leaning students.
- We need to hire people within academia that can help with the quality of content on the platform.
- We need to provide financial incentives to encourage contributions in the Peersview community.
If we do not reach the entire goal, the funds raised will still be used very efficiently towards marketing to grow our community.
We are gaining momentum, in only 2 months after launch, and zero advertising budget we have been able to attract a significant userbase onto the platform.
Risks & Challenges
- The initial growth can be slow especially without adequate funding; as the size of the community would play a big role in the experience students would derive from our platform.
- With heavy targeted marketing, we hope to maximize our growth in community size, in a shorter period of time. And the critical student mass necessary to make the platform attractive for companies to advertise.
- One major risk with online social platforms is bullying, we have adequate measures in place to ensure we have control over the languages used within the community.
