WHAT THIS PROJECT IS ABOUT
“People FUEL: A Reality TV Show” takes a creative look at an unscripted television programming. It uses the evolution of food culture,
resources to gather food, eating, history and feeding populations in today’s
world as the basis for the reality topic.
“People FUEL: A Reality TV Show” is a parody of reality television, also known as “unscripted
programming”. “People FUEL: A Reality TV Show” brings a reality TV flavor, but with class. The storyline of this “mockumentary” is positive, and embodies
real-time entertainment as it was intended.
WHY WE ARE MAKING THIS FILM
Reality TV started out as real-time
entertainment. It has not changed for the
better since its birth. “Real-time entertainment” now resulted in cat fights, violence,
putdowns, bullying, and crude behavior.
This type of format seems to dominate the reality television universe. We want to use this film to take a humorous
look at the reality TV show monster, but also bring back the entertainment
factor in looking at programs. We would
be very thankful for your support in bringing a new innovation to the big, and

WHY INDIEGOGO?
Indiegogo allows
a way to bring interest and support to make something unique. We feel that the Indiegogo model is a great
way to connect with people and to launch a new idea. We set our goal at $39,050, but hope to
exceed this amount. In today’s
filmmaking world of multi-million dollar blockbusters, this amount is not seen
as very much. We feel, however, that this goal will help ensure creative
control. Most of the pre-production work
has been done. A great team has been assembled
with a commitment to the artistry necessary for a great project.
WHY WE NEED YOUR
HELP
This film project
looks at a simple, yet universal subject . . . Eating. People FUEL is not a
food-critic driven product, although dishes are demonstrated. People FUEL is a chess game between
an old-school academician and a young Type-A male. The storyline gets behind the story of why we
eat what we eat. History, culture,
values, customs, taboos, and many different factors influence what people
eat.
This diverse
outreach, however, does come with some built-in challenges. Quality projects have to make an effort, at
times, to attract financing. Also,
creative control is important, and we seek to maintain this advantage. People FUEL is a different
vehicle for entertainment. No one will
get punched in the nose, insulted or cursed out. It is about telling a story in
real-time. And we need your help to do
it. We would be very honored for you to support our great team.
HOW WILL THE
MONEY BE USED?
Right now, the
plan is for a feature film that can be expanded in length as funds permit. If you respond in great numbers, and with
great generosity, we can turn “People FUEL: A Reality TV Show” into
a high production value vehicle. Our
plan is to use the funds raised through this Indiegogo campaign for principal
photography and post production. People

WHO
ARE WE?
We are a team of
creative partners, with many years of experience and talent. Our main
objectives are the creation of exceptional visual products, and innovative
storytelling. Many of our friends in the industry have graciously
lent their talents in helping to launch this film.
Avon Fair is the
NYU-trained film director, and founder of the production company, Nova
DealWorks, Inc. Myron Odegaard is the
Executive Producer, and has an extensive background film working on a multitude
of film & television projects. A.J.
DeSimone, who served as the Director of Photography for this promotional video,
is an extremely talented cinematographer,
and brings a visual brilliance to filming achieved through working on many feature
films and television projects The cast is headed by Lawrence James, is a veteran of Broadway, feature
films, and television, and really delivers a great performance as the erudite,
while “keeping it real”, as Professor Robert Emanuel Fontaine. Others are coming on board to lend their
talents and helping hands to this revolutionary project.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
Every film &
television project carries some risks and challenges. It is sometime easier to make
negative-themed, violence-oriented projects because the entertainment bar is so
low. Thinking out of the box is hard to
do and requires a combination of creativity and diligence; not to mention
expensive to make, without the financial resources. As with anything new, it is the first-in
players that bear the hardest burden, but reap the greatest rewards.
Those of us
working on making People FUEL happen, however are taking time and care in the
planning process, and giving a lot of attention to details, to ensure the greatest
chance for success. Look at how television
history was made with shows like “Twilight Zone”, “All in the Family”, “The
Cosby Show”, “Cheers”, “CSI”, and even “Survivor” come into
development. Viewers knew from the very first
episode when they watched these shows that they were seeing something
