Following our premiere in New York City, The Pepper Project Pilot earned nearly thirty Awards and Nominations in International Festivals and Competitions from 2015-2018.  From Vancouver to Seoul, D.C. to Rio, Miami to Bilbao. Ranked the number-one U.S. digital series in the 2017 Web Series World Cup with a worldwide audience reach and global fan-base across five continents, we couldn't be more proud and encouraged. Why? Because we have a wide fan base and an unstoppable fiery-passion to create, to tell more of Pepper's story, to continue the journey of a strong yet vulnerable woman on the brink of unraveling, facing unique circumstances and challenges that are universally-familiar. Themes of regret and redemption, loss, loyalty, loneliness, and risk vs. reward are explored as we journey through the gritty, dark shadows of the dangerous past which haunts Pepper's soul and drives her mission to find Mercy.

PEPPER FORWARD

Until very recently, while it is fact women comprise more than half the world's population, our stories have remained in the background of popular culture, often under-told and considered irrelevant. But the tide is changing, and, with the Pilot, The Pepper Project sought to help lead the charge! Pepper: Ricochet aims similarly. Female-filmmakers now occupy a stunning proportion, producing outstanding indie-content. As a series, The Pepper Project furthers female-centric narratives in an underrepresented age group as well, serving as a heads-up to industry executives that stories about powerful mature women on the edge and messy verge of imperfection are important, essential and gaining ground with an enthusiastic following.

INDUSTRY SPECS

The world of digital series story-telling and streaming has literally EXPLODED in the past five years, and, fortunately, with our success, we're ideally-poised to continue to ride this crazy-wonderful wave of OTT enthusiasm. If you subscribe to Netflix, HBO, Amazon, or Hulu, AMC, Showtime and SeekaTV, you know these platforms are hungry and looking for more ORIGINAL content. We've had the meetings! We're on the HOT RADAR of several platforms that have expressed interest in Pepper's story. We need more content for distribution, to pitch, to remain cutting-edge and current in an extremely competitive market. We've tons of energy to continue this exciting and promising-process and need your support to move forward. We are ready to RICOCHET!

THE MONEY $$$

The PEPPER RICOCHET chapter, approximately 15 minutes in length, films in two separate locations. One shoot is scheduled this summer at a beautiful outdoor lake-house which perfectly suits the scene to introduce Pepper's Godfather, Bald Sam. In the second phase, set to shoot this fall, we return to Pepper dangerously trapped in the stairwell.

Estimated production cost is $18K, We're seeking sponsorship for post production and marketing through brand placement and partial-matching contributions as well.

Insurance, Locations, Permits. Transportation, Crew and Cast Salaries, Props, Food, Rentals, Hair & Makeup, Wardrobe, and, very important for this phase, Marketing.

The Pepper: Ricochet Team consists of a wonderful mix of returning creative, talented and generous-spirited industry pros, who together created the Pilot and are thrilled to return to RICOCHET!  We are blessed.

We are proud, once again, to have opportunities for our versatile team to be creative in all elements of this production - from the production staff to cast to styling and design. In what is often known to be a male-dominated industry, as with the pilot, we again strive for a healthy and eclectic balance. Everyone's ideas count.
