"Pictures of" What?
'PICTURES OF US' tells the story of Brooke (Annie Rix), a young accountant who cannot stop herself from pushing away every good relationship in her life. After finding herself alone and disconnected, Brooke is determined to discover the cause of her perpetual juvenile behavior and find a way to change her fabric of being. With the help of her best friend, Helen (Caty Gordon), she begins the journey looking backward in hopes to find the solution to her present mistakes.
The film uses photographs as a preservation of the past, a reminder of Brooke's disconnected present and a subtle manner of foreshadowing what is to come.
Where Will the Money Go?
While we have completed the production process, there is much to be done to get the film ready for theatrical exhibition (i.e., film festivals) and our end goal of V.O.D. (Video On Demand) distribution (i.e., Netflix, Cable, iTunes, etc).
The funds raised from this campaign will go to complete the following:
- a dynamic 5.1 SURROUND SOUND MIX for theatrical exhibition, as well as for a compelling home theater experience
- an exciting, vibrant original score that pulls from a mix of BLUES & POP music
- rich, colorful COLOR CORRECTION allowing the picture to burst off the screen with energy and warmth
- to defray the costs of FILM FESTIVAL SUBMISISON FEES.
