Thanks for checking out my campaign!

My name is Zach Stuck and I am a 20-year-old college marketing student and the sole founder of Pif Clothing Co., which I launched on January 16th of 2013. To say the least, the last couple of months have been crazy. Between releasing my first products, creating a universal donating process, developing a sustainable business, and learning as much as I can everyday about the clothing industry, all while fulfilling my brand’s mission, I’ve kept myself pretty busy. As of today, Pif Clothing Co. has sold around 200 total items and donated the same within our first 5 months in business.

About Pif Clothing Co...

1. 100% Made in America Clothing – Manufactured in America garments, custom logo tags made in Florida, high quality screen-printed in Wisconsin, sewing done local. (Benefits national, state, and local economies).

2. For each item sold, Pif Clothing Co. donates the same quality/same design product to children who can truly benefit from it. All donating up to this point has been through multiple Boys & Girls Clubs in Wisconsin. Pif donates on somewhat of a quarterly basis (February/March, May/June, August/September, November/December).

3. At first glance, the price point may seem slightly high. Most clothing brands are charging the same (if not more) for their clothing, giving them loads of profit. Pif Clothing Co.’s approach is different. That profit is used to purchase another of the same quality shirt to give to a child.

... Join the movement to Pay It Forward and to support American made products by ordering from Pif Clothing Co. today.

Now to our summer line products…

One of each summer line product is fully created. In order to produce these products at a cost that supports our price point while still gaining profits, Pif Clothing Co. would need $30,000 in sales (about 600 t-shirts/tanktops and 100 sweatshirts). I greatly appreciate your support on any level. In turn, I am eager to supply you with a high quality Made in America product, equipped with high quality screen-printed graphics, and custom logo tags and tag-less tags. Above all, that same quality item will be given to a child that can benefit from it. Your support gives you and Pif Clothing Co. the opportunity to benefit many!

Thanks for all of your support. – Zach

Will buying from Pif Clothing Co. create American jobs?

Why, of course! Pif Clothing Co. is already generating business for many companies (Screen Print Shop, Tag Company, Clothing Manufacturer, Local Sewing Business). The more products that Pif Clothing Co. sells, the more help is needed, bringing even more work to these local businesses, creating even more jobs for them. The brand is always growing, creating an even bigger need for employees within as well.

How does the donating process work?

Thanks for asking! Pif Clothing Co. donates on somewhat of a quarterly basis (February/March, May/June, August/September, November/December). When the time comes, I contact the Boys and Girls Clubs that desire to receive clothing from Pif Clothing Co. and supply them with an item of each size. These will be used to figure out how many of each size product they would need. We then ship each Club as many garments as we can to best fill their requests.

How can a clothing business like Pif Clothing Co. be sustainable when it has such a low profit margin?

Great question! It all comes down to the ordering process. Pif Clothing Co. plans to continue selling products in a similar fashion as that of Indiegogo. Pre-orders will be held for all of our clothing and future products from now on out. Each time an item is introduced, there will be a time limit set (for example: 1 week) to order the product. A minimum number of orders will be set for each product as well. If the minimum number of orders is not met within the set time limit, the products will not be manufactured or sold, and the customers will be refunded their money. This process is set up to prevent the suffering from dead inventory and will guarantee a profit margin. Pif Clothing Co. will sell direct to consumers through our own website (www.pifclothing.com). This will avoid the 100% mark-ups most stores add to products.

Why donate to Boys and Girls Clubs?

I thought you’d never ask. Pif Clothing Co. runs on a mission that I strive to fulfill, which is introducing another aspect to the business that reaches out to the community. We’re not just handing out free t-shirts, but providing clothing that will give a wide range of children confidence and comfort through a stylish, high quality garment. Boys and Girls Club is introduced daily to new children, many of whom come from low-income homes. Not all of these families are able to purchase high quality and trendy clothing on their own. Donating t-shirts won’t change the world, but I believe giving children confidence through quality clothing is a good place to start.
