DISCLAIMER: WE ARE NOT SELLING OR PROMOTING FACEPLATES. THIS IS TO LAUNCH A MEDIA BLITZ, RAISE AWARENESS, AND PRE-EMPT POSSIBLE PRODUCTION. DONATIONS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A SALE OR EVEN THE PROMISE OF A FACEPLATE.
Two weeks ago we took thousands of orders for custom PS5 faceplates. Then we refunded them due to copyright concerns.
We messed up, and we’ve been thinking of how we can make it up to you and to Sony. We’ve been thinking of how we can deliver what you want.
We love PlayStation. Our team grew up playing Sony games. And it’s been our unspoken pipedream to work with them, to be partners in delivering the customization you all want for the console.
So the plan is simple, raise enough money that we attract their eye. We need to let Sony know how much you all want this. A petition isn't enough. It's scratches on paper. We need to make noise.
We see collaborations with streamers and blockbuster gaming studios. We've even dreamt up a contest where the winning artist earns a profit share on the sale of their design.
And, we want to do all of this respectfully, legally, and with Sony’s support. We want to become an official partner. Then we want to get faceplates in your hands by 2021.
But we can’t do it without you.
Our team was the first to create a faceplate prototype. You were the community that glittered on the pages of IGN, Forbes, and so many more. It’s our honest belief that our group can earn Sony’s partnership and become officially licensed.
Let’s make headlines again. Then ring in the New Year with New Plates. We can do this.
And, we've cobbled together some crazy rewards for those who join the cause.
