A few words about PLATFORMA

The idea of Doshka Foundation was born a bit by accident during the spring of 2023. After a first experience of a few months as volunteers here in Kyiv, mostly delivering medical supplies to the ones in need, we concluded that the way humanitarian aid was provided was not adapted. We started to think about Doshka Foundation as a non-profit that would do just the same as other volunteer organisations regarding the substance, but everything differently regarding the methodology, the approach.

However, almost immediately, we realised that this approach should be enhanced to all volunteer organisations since everyone seemed to agree with the statement: many aspects of the humanitarian ecosystem could be & should be rationalised, centralized, digitalized & streamlined. We just needed to build our own tool.

Why do we need funding? 

> to start paying the first people who help building this tool, and cannot work pro bono forever, 
> to pay the first paying tools we need to keep going, 
> to pay some professionals able to bring the project to the next step (legal & accounting),
