My story!
This is a true story. A heartbreaking one with a happy twist!
I have MS. Have had it since I was 17. MS is a horrible paralysing disease that has turned my body into a shell of what it once was; i was a PASSIONATE charity volunteer and activist. I've taken all the pharma meds available (not all at once lol) and my neurologist has given up on me. It is THAT bad. :(
You know when you cant dress yourself, feed yourself, wash yourself, use the bathroom by yourself it means that you have to do something drastic. so I TURN TO YOU! :D
I'm smiling because I have faith, can remain positive and see a bright and less disabled future but I can't do it alone.
----
My incredi-boyfriend Patrick lost his job recently and we are having an EXCEPTIONALLY DIFFICULT time paying most bills, healing MS and feeding us both and our 2 kitties...Salad anyone? *meow'*
I turn to you all because I'm TIRED OF THIS DESPERATE SITUATION. THE STRESS IS MONUMENTAL & COUNTER PRODUCTIVE.
We've determined that diet and physiotherapy, homeopathy, LIBERATION SURGERY (CCSVI is the name of said surgery) are the last best remaining options but cannot afford any of them ; THERE ARE TOO MANY.
M y dream is to get CCSVI surgery in America which includes traveling there, staying in a hotel/motel and getting an ultrasound and then the actual day surgery.
TOTAL COST is roughly $18,000.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
HELP. i'm looking for enough for the surgery, post surgery physio therapy rehabilitation and the necessities post surgery like supplements.
the impact
Anything you can contribute will COMPLETELY CHANGE MY LIFE IN MASSIVE WAYS. With time i'll maybe be able to walk again, dress myself, dance with my bf. I'd love to take the burden off of Patrick doing EVERYTHING FOR ME and get back to being a woman and not a patient.
I look forward to working out, feeling healthy, eating right, following a GET-WELL DIET AND TAKING EVERY VITAMIN, SUPPLEMENT I CAN until I am a bit better. CCSVI IS A TOTAL BONUS.
I PROMISE TO NEVER GIVE UP, ALWAYS STAY POSITIVE, TO ALWAYS MAKE A GOOD CONTRIBUTION to theha world (I volunteered with Engineers Without Borders for 5 years+, daily), UNICEF, and others also.
I'm a fighter for MS and my experience has just been very underestimated by most of the people in our lives. PLEASE HELP ME IF U CAN.
If that's not possible I understand! no worries. please SHARE my story and know how grateful I am for this.
Sincerely,
Sarah Anne Didora & Patrick Bay (+Ollie n Bitty Didora-Bay, the cats)
