After the find of a lifetime, a treasure salvager must outwit the law and other nefarious characters before they steal it out from under him.
After a Hurricane whips though Neumeyer Beach, Wes Ryan (Bennett Gammon) and his treasure salvaging partnerJonah (MJ Toling), discover a fortune left amidst the remains of the long lost Spanish shipwreck, the Flor De Oro.
With the needed salvage permits denied and word of the discovery on the streets, Wes must devise a plan to outwit a corrupt Sheriff, Wilfred Rykes (Fred Galyean), and pirate salvager, Dino (Mitch Lemos), from getting their hands on this newly rediscovered bounty.
The Impact of Your Donation & Challenges Ahead
With years of combined experience running professional film sets, we will make sure your contributions are allocated efficiently and effectively. Our goal is to make sure the value of your donations is seen on screen, all while making sure we take care of the top notch crew donating their time and efforts to help us complete our goal.
It is not lost on us we have a lot on our plate in the back half of our shoot, variables some filmmakers would sometimes try to avoid. We will be working on the water, with boats, weapons, and minors. Having been on water based productions in the past, we are both going into this with the knowledge of the curveballs that may lay ahead. Our jobs as Assistant Directors though have trained us how to pivot on a dime, determine the best way forward, and above all else, trust and lean on the professionals we surround ourselves with to successfully emerge on the other side.
Once we wrap this project, we want everyone to walk away knowing they put their name on something they can be proud they had a hand in creating. From the experienced members of the cast and crew standing in knee deep water in September, down to every person gracious enough to donate, you all will have put your stamp on a movie that is an entertaining mixture of fun, extortion, and some surprisingly adventurous twists.
