My Story:
I'm creating a new line of motivating athletic apparel and just getting it off the ground. They are for average Joe's and Jane's on the path to greater things! We aren't all fitness models or bodybuilders; some of us never want to be but we enjoy the activities that love and work hard at them. We might not be the best of the best but who cares! Hence the Practice Squad name; currently the underdog but working hard to be the best that we can be, while having fun!
I am one of those regular Joe's that I was talking about. One day I jumped on the scale and saw that I was the heaviest I've ever been and I needed to make a change. So I got off my butt and joined a gym and started working out. I had a goal in mind and worked my butt off to get there. Here are some of my before and after pictures to show you what I mean.

I lost 30 pounds plugging away at what I enjoyed. I know that there are days where you can just use a little motivation to give you that kick you need to keep pushing. I had some motivational T-shirts that helped me get through it. I didn't feel comfortable wearing those bodybuilder type shirts that are all about muscles etc. because I wasn't that person. I was just a guy who wanted to get into shape and get there by never giving up on my goal. I want to help people reach theirs too! I know a t-shirt won't get you there but they can help you along the way to help keep you focused on what you want. My main goal is to help others. I get asked all the time on "How I did it?", "What do I need to do to do the same?" and "Was it hard?".
I tell them that it wasn’t hard for me only because it was something
that I truly wanted to do. It was a passion and a personal challenge. It
took a lot of work, dedication, sacrifices, and will power. When they
say “hard work”, I think of the last two. I think this is what people
consider to be the “hard work”. Do they have to sacrifice some things
and do they have to resist temptations…..absolutely!! You have to get
out of your comfort zone and do things that you aren't used to doing.
But if you want something bad enough, your desire to achieve your goal
will overpower the rest. The things that seem strange at the beginning
become habit and a lifestyle. You just have to grind it out until it
becomes your everyday routine and your old lifestyle or routine seems
strange. This is only the beginning for me. I can't wait to see how far I
can go!
These T-shirts are what I'm all about and my philosophy. When I get the thought in my head that I could just skip a day or two, I look at the shirts and remember why I started. I have made some demo shirts already that I wear around the house and at the gym. They are extremely comfortable, breathable, good to just wear when you're lounging at home on an rest day.
If I can get the funding I can expand the selection of products (Tank Tops, Shorts, Sweats, Yoga Pants, Hats, etc.). I have a vision of where I want to see the company go but need a little help to get me there. I want to expand the business beyond North America and create more motivational wears, not just something you can workout in. I want to bring out more positivity. I'm sure we all have seen enough negativity on the TV and Social Media. How about something uplifting for a change?
I am currently working on a website for the apparel line.
