Wilfy Williams Brand New Album 2021!
After Wilfy's first Album The Pledge was crowdfunded in 2014, Wilfy went on to play live on BBC Radio 1. It's been a long 6 years since Wilfy has released any new songs so why now?
The Return of the Wilfy
After the success of the first album Wilfy was inspired to return to education to master his craft and was determined to reward his fans with something we could all be proud of. So Wilfy returned to University and graduated with a degree in Music in 2018 and then graduated with a Masters degree in Music Performance in 2019. Just a few months later Wilfy went viral when busking in London. Putting his crowd-pleasing musical skills to good use he incited joy on the London Underground and made the national news, receiving over 6 million social media views and shares in a day. The pandemic has stopped Wilfy entertaining the crowds, but this time has enabled him to craft and complete the most inspiring album of new songs - and he's now excited to get into the groove in the studio.
A New Hope
Wilfy has teamed up with producer Rob Toulson (Talvin Singh, Mediaeval Babes, Daisy and the Dark) and they are already creating magic in the studio. So its that time again to gather round, get your face on the album artwork, get ready to conga away and contribute to Wilfy's first release since 2014! We are aiming to raise 1k to fund the album, which will cover the remaining production costs and the time of many wonderful musicians Wilfy has met along his journey.
Here is how you will help;
- Wilfy is offering you the first download of the album as soon as it arrives back from being mastered and that could be months before the public will hear it.
- There is also the chance to have your face on the album artwork! If you pledge a contribution you can have you or a loved ones face in a beautifully designed mosaic, which worked really well on the first album and is a thank you from Wilfy to you for supporting him.
- You can participate in a live performance gig which is planned for a live venue in 2021 (Covid permitting). Wilfy is also offering the chance to book an intimate zoom gig with him.
- Companies looking for some creative visibility can also sponsor the album. Wilfy will share sponsor logos and weblink's throughout his social media campaign. Private online gigs are also amongst the perks for album sponsors.
