In late 2015 or early 2016, Princesa de Roatan Resort and Spa, a new luxury condominium hotel, will open on the Caribbean Island Paradise of Roatan. Combining an almost endless span of azure blue, crystal clear water…1,000 feet of spectacular palm-fringed, white-sanded beach…and the excitement and luxury that are the hallmark of the management company's world-renowned hotels, Princesa de Roatan Resort and Spa will offer guests like you a truly matchless experience.

The resort is being built on the unspoiled north shore of the eastern end of the island of Roatan. The first phase of construction consists of approximately 302 fully furnished suites…and will eventually rise to no more than three floors. The spacious, low-density configuration is designed with quiet, elegant luxury in mind. Imagine an Italian hilltop villa with rooftop gardens where you can wander, play, or just relax…a villa where every room is situated carefully so that each has a spectacular view.

Roatan, Honduras is the largest of eight islands collectively known as the Bay Islands. It’s located about 40 miles off the north coast of Honduras. Though the largest of the Bay Islands, Roatan is only 40 miles long and less than 4 miles wide at its widest point.

Roatan is also home to spectacular beaches, warm turquoise waters and lush unspoiled terrain. Roatan has a hilly terrain with its highest point reaching 900 ft. above sea level. The temperature varies between 80 and 85 degrees which is the same for its warm caribbean waters.

The bay islands are surrounded by the worlds second largest barrier reef and attract many visitors each year for some of the world's best diving. These waters are home to a diverse aquatic life which makes Roatan a scuba and snorkeling paradise.

Roatan is easy to travel to as it is within close proximity to the United States. Direct flights are offered from Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami. In season there are also direct flights from Toronto, Montreal and Milan, Italy. Another great feature this paradise has to offer is that it is not in the main path of hurricanes.  

Princesa de Roatan has an LOI in place with a large, well known international luxury hotel chain. The Resort will be branded under this chain's name and will also be managed by their extremely competent management team. The construction financing has been approved and construction will commence this coming fall. 

Prior to beginning construction we have to complete some additional architectural and engineering work. Vacation packages start at just $79 for two people for a two day one night stay in a luxurious studio suite. For those that want to enjoy the substantial benefits of permanent Vacation Ownership, a one week deeded ownership that you can pass on down to your heirs starts at only $2,900 for a Studio Unit of approximately 525 sq.ft.  When the resort is open these units will sell for  between $10,000-$15,000. You can either stay at Princesa de Roatan or you can trade your week or weeks and stay at other resorts around the world. 

Offering You the Luxury of Choice

The floor plans for the Studio Units are shown above. Below are renderings of the Studio Units so that you can get an idea of how luxurious the units will be. 

The floor plans for the One Bedroom suites are shown below They are approximately 725 sq. ft. . Deeded Vacation Ownership for the One Bedroom  units are $3,990 per week for the Early Bird Specials. These One Bedroom units will be priced at  $15,000 to $20,000 when the resort opens. As with the Studio Units, you can either stay at the luxurious Princesa de Roatan or trade your unit and stay at other resorts around the world.  

 We also have what we call a Combination Unit. The spacious Studio units and One Bedroom units combine to form a truly luxurious two-bedroom suite of approximately 1,250 sq. ft., perfectly suited for your own personal use…or as two separate suites if you want to share with family or friends. The Combination units start at $6,490 for the Early Bird Specials. These Combination units will be deeded separately so you can exchange them separately, sell them in the future either together or you could keep one and sell the other. When the Resort is open they will sell for between $25,000 and $35,000.
