ProView S3 is a 3-axis gimbal that allows users to fully unleash the video recording capability of 4K smartphones. Specifically designed for large 4K smartphones (e.g., iPhone 7/7+ or Galaxy S7/Note5), ProView S3 turns a smartphone into an easy-to-use professional video-capturing equipment and enables anyone to capture and share memorable moments in cinematic video quality.
It is capable of handling mid-size to large-size phones and provide best-in-class stabilization performance.
Unlocking the Power of Story
ProView S3 gives you the ability to shoot ultra-smooth videos like a pro. With your creativity, a great story can be visually told and shared!
Below, we shot a duckling story to share with you all. Take a look at how easy it is to produce a cinematic quality video using a stabilizer without needing any professional experience. (Note: The smaller screen is a comparison video done without a stabilizer.)

Key Features
![]()
Adjustable Mount
The adjustable mount works with Android and iOS phones having width dimension ranging from 51mm to 83mm.
Ergonomically designed allowing single person to easily release phone grip with one hand, and use the other hand to insert or remove phone.
Wind Resistant
Advanced motor control algorithms and mechanical design to provide more stable operation in windy condition.
Wireless Update
Firmware updatable using Bluetooth 4.0.
![]()
Dual IMU Sensors
Adopt most advanced dual inertial measurement unit sensing technology to deliver state-of-art camera stabilization performance, much less drift than gimbals using only single IMU.
Powerful Motors
Use high-torque brushless motors with superior gripping power and control accuracy, capable of supporting larger heavier smartphones.
Underslung Shot
Allow holding ProView S3 upside-down to shoot low angle moving shots from ground level. When changing from upright to underslung position, ProView S3 automatically detects such orientation and will operate correctly.

The person taking the video is the person in the video. See how the iPhone 6+ remains stable in this stress test. Also check out the quality of this video taken by the iPhone 6+.
Underslung mode, holding inverted, is useful in near ground low angle video shooting. Most smartphone stabilizers are unable to do this.

Prototyping Before the Campaign
We kicked off the crowdfunding campaign after 12 months of hardware and software development with 4 iterations of CNC-milled hardware prototypes. The design was proven working before the campaign. During the campaign, we continued improve the design while taking valuable inputs from our backers.

FAQ
Q1: Does it support GoPro?
A1: Balancing is important for optimal stabilizer performance. Currently we are aiming at optimal performance for mid size to large size smartphones, could not accommodate smaller phones and GoPro. Making it usable for sizes, including GoPro, would result in similar poor stabilization problems with large phones that many smartphone gimbals on the market now have. If mainly for GoPro use, it's better to buy a GoPro-only gimbal. Performance will be optimal, size is smaller, and better suited for bike mount or other mounting application where it is typically intended.
Q2: What's battery operating time? What kind of battery used?
A2: About 2 hours operating time. Three 18350 rechargeable batteries are the current design choice.
Q3: Can it work with 6" phone?
A3: The phone grip opens up to 83mm. If phone width within 85mm and weight not exceed 222 gram by too much then would be OK.
Q4: Are all mid-size to large-size phones usable?
A4: Some of the smartphones has side buttons not on top part of the phone. If too low, it might come in contact with the phone grip. In case just coming in contact a bit, slide the phone out a little would clear the situation. If buttons are too low, it might be a problem. Such is common issue with all smartphone stabilizer phone grip designs. Please check with below figure to see if your phone has such issue.

Q5: How does ProView S3 compare with other InDemand smartphone gimbals?

Note * : We have Bluetooth 4.0 inside ProView S3 for setting control and firmware update using Bluetooth Low Energy profile. Video recording on/off via Bluetooth requires additional Human Interface Device (HID) profile. Testing with limited model of phones we have in the office (of Apple, Samsung, Asus, HTC brands), we see that this feature could work with phones from Apple, Samsung, and Asus, but unable to work with HTC phones using this new HID mode. Since the feature is not guaranteed to work with all phones, it's offered as extra bonus feature for user to try. We only have access to limited phone models in our office, unable to know if all other brand/model works or not. Later after receiving ProView S3, you can let us know if it works with your phone, and we'll compile a list of compatible and non-compatible phones.
