Our team wants to make a "Mobile Body" so that all you need is to switch the head from Q.bo One Desktop to the Mobile Body so that your Q.bo one can move around.
All owners of Q.bo One Desktop Version will have the option to transform it into a mobile robot.
Of course, this is still “Work In Progress” for us. There is no definite timeline on when the mobile body will be available as our main priority is still very much focused on delivering Q.bo One to the market, make it useful and widely available. Founded in 2008, Thecorpora has accumulated about 10 years of experience in building interactive robots. We built Q.bo, the first in the series that is the baseline for further development in interactive robots. Q.bo is patented and built as a developmental platform. It has since been sold to hundreds of Universities and Technology Companies worldwide.

Is Q.bo One for Real? Yes it is. We have a fully functional product and all functionalities are tested to work as shown.
When will Q.bo One Ship? We estimate that Q.bo will ship 6 months after the close of the crowdfunding campaign. This is to facilitate completion of administration, manufacturer’s tooling and production as well as packaging.
What language is Q.bo One available in? The number of languages are unlimited when you if you use online voices like google voice. Qbo One also comes with its own voice and so far, only the languages available are English and Spanish. Our team are currently working on other major languages.
Can I get a fully assembled version of Q.bo One? Yes, Q.bo One is available fully assembled. However, it is important to note that Q.bo One is deliberately designed as a kit. It is easy to assemble, program and interact with. We wanted to show that robots are not difficult to make and program. Besides there is no better way to ensure the quality of the product other than assembling it yourself. Amateurs may take approximately an hour to fix it up but people who likes to tinker with things may take only about 30 minutes to fix it up. Notwithstanding, the cost of fully assembling the robot is not high, which we have pass back to you. Most of all, when you build your own Q.bo One, you will unlock an immense sense of achievement on completion which can be realized through some effort, patience and curiosity. Most important of all, this sense of achievement is definitely worth more than the cost savings. So go ahead and try it, build it and make Q.bo One your very own. Regardless, if you prefer a fully assembled version, we can build it up and send to you with protective packing.
Does Q.bo One come with hands and wheels to move around? Currently, Q.bo One does not come with hands and wheels to move around. Adding these functions will make the robot more expensive than it currently is and will be counter productive to our goal of making social robots accessible to as many people as possible. However, if Q.bo One is widely distributed, we may introduce such features as add on.
Is Q.bo One compatible with my computer? Yes, Q.bo One can work in conjunction with your computer. Notwithstanding, it can also work independently from your computer. You can connect your Q.bo One to an electronic display, mouse and key board to perform high level or low level programming of the robot. In order to program with Scratch, you will need to connect your Q.bo One to these peripheral devices.
Do I need a WiFi network for it to work? No, it is not necessary to have Wifi for Q.bo One to work as it can work offline. However, it should be connected to a Wifi network in order to tap on all the resources Q.bo One has for you.
Are there going to be apps available for Q.bo One? Yes there will be. It is easy to program apps and deliver content for Q.bo One. Developers can contact us and send us their apps for review before we make it available to the market place. This is for the safety of our users. We have built an online store for this and we will launch it at an appropriate time when there are sufficient apps and interest in the eco-system.
What colors are available for Q.bo One? Currently, Q.bo One is available only in Blue and Pink. We have plans to introduce other colors in the future
Does Q.bo One Comes with Local Storage? Yes, Q.bo One will allow you to store 8 GB locally.
Does Q.bo One comes with an Operating System? Yes, Q.bo One comes with a Raspbian OS installed.
Is Q.bo One Integrated to Scratch? Yes, Q.bo One is fully integrated with Scratch. Scratch can be use to move One's head, detect and generate speech as well as recognize image and respond to touch. In short, you can use Scratch to control and operate sensors embedded on Q.bo One.
Will Q.bo One be able to work with Watson capabilities and access sensors and outputs? Our team has integrated to Watson and is able to perform deep question and answer as well as recognize languages and images, through Open CV.
Does Q.bo One have default behaviours that show what it can do? We have a test scripts for Q.bo One to recognize and track images, voices and questions. Thereafter the user can utilize a simple programming tool like Scratch to program basic applications for Q.bo One.
Will there be educational content to help learners to get started? Yes, we will load tutorials to get users started on how they can program Q.bo One with some simple exercises.
Who is Q.bo One designed for? Q.bo One is designed for everyone: Adults, Kids, Seniors, Teachers, Geeks and Developers.

Can Q.bo One’s camera and microphone be turned on remotely without my knowledge?No. The microphone and camera cannot be turned on without users the explicit consent of the user. The connection can only be made after user enable the connection.
How am I supported as a Developer? Once you enrolled as our developer, we will have a team dedicated to support your endeavor. We will have tips, information and assets available in our blog to help you with your developmental ventures.
What is the funding for? Development of the product is largely completed. We need the funding to set up for manufacturing and put more enhancements to the product.
Does Q.bo One comes with batteries? No, Q.bo One does not come with batteries. It takes power from the indoor electrical power supply with a universal adaptor.
When will Q.bo One ship? Q.bo One is scheduled to begin shipping on December 2017. We ship worldwide.
