For
over four decades, qUest wiRx has elaborated on the potentiality of grace through authentic
modes of creative expression in human beings.
Our
core group of innovators and collaborators has devoted their lives, as professional artists working across the globe, to sharing and
awakening capacity for wellness by inspiring children, families, folks in crisis centers,
prisons, hospitals and on the street and edges of civilization.
For the entire month of August 2016,
qUest wiRx will transform the
Power Plant Gallery at American Tobacco Campus into a creative sanctuary, a convergence of
over 50 artists with public visitors, together forging:
• meditations on echoes of breath • Exploring a new element each week
• ether • fire • water • earth • qUest wiRx will create installations in response to the conditions of a technology-driven world, both positive and stressful!
• meditative movements & dance & stillness • scribed art & writing • drawing & painting • installations & sun salutations • textiles & photography • sonic resonance & music & silence • singing bowls • echoes of breath •
This living, creative sanctuary will hold space for both friends and strangers to co-discover ways for transforming trauma & embodying enchantment.
During the citywide
3rd Friday celebration,
qUest wiRx will offer a 24-hour haven for nourishing experimental, collaborative approaches to centering and self-expression.

We have the backing of
Power Plant Gallery, inviting
qUest wiRx founder Nina Be as artist in residence for the month of August.
We have a core group of 15 artists... a team growing stronger, more diverse and more creative at every prep meeting and rehearsal... and also growing deeper in commitment to this project with each contribution from backers like you.
We have decades of know-how, as artists, as yoga therapists, as teachers, musicians and choreographers, with expertise ranging from somatic psychology to sonic healing.
What we need NOW is your support.E C O N O M I C A L L Y
- support STIPENDS for more than 50 artists/tech crew:
offer your compassion with a donation to support dedicated hours, days & weeks of work & passion that bring rare projects like this into being... like everyone else, artists need to eat & to sleep under a sound roof. For real... do the math, and you will see that our goal is a very modest one. Click
here for bios of core
qUest wiRx artists. This list is blossoming by the day!
we are gathering both monetary and in-kind contributions for • art supplies (paper, charcoal, paint) • wardrobe inventions (fabric remnants, wearable origami, ...you know... typical items you would expect to find donned by inhabitants of an enchanted forest of beings) ... Click here for an updated wish list of the in-kind donations we seek
