QWERTYFEST MKE 2024 - Clack on!

Hello! It's Molly Snyder and Tea Krulos, back to activate a second year of the hopefully-annual QWERTYFEST MKE. Our mission is to celebrate the invention of the typewriter – made in Milwaukee 150 years ago – along with Brew City innovation in general.

QWERTYFEST MKE is a three-day festival – this year it's Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23 – that will include a Friday night "Typewriter Ball" at Turner Hall; workshops and presentations at Mitchell Street Arts on Saturday; a whiskey type-in on Saturday night at a local distillery; Typewriter Jam & Toast Brunch and The Forest Home "QWERTY Journey" Cemetery Tour on Sunday; and more.
