Both actors, both spaniards and both in LA. That's how the story of Marcos and Manuela started to come alive. Both characters have a lot of us in them and that's why this project is so personal and cherished. Living as an artist in LA, far away from home, isn't easy but would we swap it for another job? No, we couldn't. And that's what we want to do: an ode to artists.  

Los dos somos actores, españoles y ambos en LA. Así es cómo la historia de Marcos y Manuela empezó a cobrar vida. Ambos personajes tienen mucho de nosotros en ellos, por eso este proyecto es tan personal y querido para nosotros. Vivir en LA como un artista, lejos de casa, no es fácil pero lo cambiaríamos por otro trabajo? No, no podemos. Y por eso queremos hacer Raíces, por los artistas.

• FILM FESTIVALS/Festivales de Cine: We want 'Raíces' to get far in the Film Festival World, get the maximum exposition, that's why we want to get great quality in every aspect of the film! Our targeted festivals are Cannes, Sundance and Sitges, which would qualify our movie for The Academy!! Fingers crossed!                                                                          Queremos que RAICES llegue lejos en el mundo de los Festivales de Cine, conseguir la máxima exposición, por eso queremos que todos los aspectos de la película sean de gran calidad.
