My name is Emily Hanaway.  I am 17 years old.  I play indoor and sand volleyball.  This year my indoor team qualified for the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In addition, I qualified with my pick up sand partner for the USAV High Performance Sand Volleyball Tournament in Hermosa Beach July 18-20, 2014 and I qualified with my regular sand partner for the West Coast AAU Sand Volleyball Junior Olympics, July 26-27, 2014.  

Since I made the Lone Star Region High Performance Team, my training and uniforms are free, but I have to raise funds for air fare, room and board for 9 days in Hermosa Beach, California.  

The USAV High Performance Team and Championships are a pipeline for Olympic sand volleyball.  It is an honor to earn a spot on this team.  

If you donate to this fund, I will keep you updated on my journey by sharing a newsletter with pictures and updates from Hermosa Beach.  

These funds will specifically go toward air fare to and from Hermosa Beach, California, dates July 17-July 28 and toward room and board costs during my competition.
