Red Bank Regional High School Costa Rica Service Trip

I am a senior at Red Bank Regional, and I organized this class trip through Rustic Pathways. I am in the International Baccalaureate program, which is a high level academic program that focuses on having a global perspective of knowledge. This trip would really help the students in the program better understand that perspective. At least 12 seniors and 2 teachers from our school will be travelling to the Costa Rican village of Uvita and work on construction and environmental projects. We will also be teaching local children English. The trip costs $2745 per student including airfare, and we are looking to cut that cost by about $1000. Our involvement would greatly benefit the impoverished village of Uvita. The main problem for us is not getting enough kids. More than enough students are interested, but they cannot afford it, and we need at 12 students in order for the trip to happen. Any and every donation would help to make this trip happen, which would not only make us extremely grateful, but also the people of Uvita who we will be helping. Please help us!
