The next level of Sports Utility Transportation
It all started on one of our many surf trips to Hourtin Plage by the Atlantic Coast. Tired of carrying our surf boards and gear to the beach we built our own surfboard trailer using a windsurf bow, old bike wheels and a tarpaulin. After receiving many envious looks and positive feedback we just had to take our idea further.

Back home we developed the first reacha prototype in cooperation with a bunch of creative minds.
Our friends at auswall in Tegernsee made it possible to take our prototype to the next level. With extensive experience in ergonomics, design and technology we could not wish for better partners in crime.
Being the sports lovers that we are, our mission is to take the drag out of sports utility transportation. It would be amazing to see our baby go into serial production, so a huge thank you to everyone who wants to support us during this journey!

about reacha
the features
The reacha consists of an extremely stable frame, trunk (I don’t think this is the right word, but I don’t know what to use instead) and adjustable bike wheels. The aluminium frame is produced in Bavaria. You can customize reacha with wheels from 20 to 28 inches. This makes it suitable for all kinds of sports and terrains. It allows you to transport any kind of equipment like several surf boards, stand up paddle boards, canoes and kitesurf equipment. Optional fat bike wheels help your reacha become even more stable.
The maximum load capacity for reacha is 45 kg when attached to a bike and 60 kg when used as a hand trailer.

our reacha accessory will upgrade your reacha and adjust it to your needs even better. From our reacha bike connector to our expansion options - we've really thought it through!
bike connector
Our optional reacha bike connector makes it possible to pull the trailer with a bike. You can attach reacha to any bike in less than a second. No annoying tucking-the-board-under-your-arm while riding your bike! With the bike connector and our 22" - 26" reacha wheel options you're ready to roll.
You won't need an additional adapter, the bike connector is material-friendly and compatible with any bike.

bow
the bow makes sure that your equipment always stays safe! If you want to transport several surf or SUP boards - or your little kids that do not feel like walking all the way to the beach anymore - the reacha bow is the stabilizer in our reacha family.

XL kit
The XL kit allows you to widen the reacha for bigger adventures: How about just bringing your canoe or kayak right to where you want to start your journey on the water? Or just load your reacha with up to six surf boards.
With the XL kit you get 1 meter of reacha loading area - in case you were planning on opening a surf school - this is the right accessory for your plan!

DIY version
For the all the creative minds out there, how about designing your own reacha?

FAQ
What is INDIEGOGO and what is "crowdfunding"?
Crowdfunding means that a bunch of people who believe in a team and their product give money to them in advance to the production of the product. This helps the team to surpass financial squeezes or can give them a start-up financing. Reacha is running a fixed-goal campaign. This means if we don't reach our goal of 35.000 € you get a 100% refund of your money.
Why can I only pay with credit card?
INDIEGOGO is a company out of the USA where credit card payment is far more common than in Europe. Although refunds on credit cards in case of a failed campaign are easier than via bank transfer. We still chose INDIEGOGO because it gives us the best technical solutions to set up the campaign. Sadly they just decided to discontinue PayPal as a payment method.
We really hope that you still go the extra mile and support us via credit card payement. Thank you!
Shipping outside of EU
Currently we do not ship our products outside of EU countries. This might change after the successful completion of our crowdfunding campaign and the eventual facilitation of international distribution channels . risks and challenges
So far we have ten reacha prototypes. We need your support to get reasonable pricing for the project to scale up the production from the get go. We are still learning and will do our very best to keep the proposed deadlines while not compromising on providing the highest possible quality.
We have completed some of the supplier deals, on some we are still working. The final product may differ slightly from the picture.
The bigger your support on INDIEGOGO the faster we can test and release new features and improve our serial production. We are grateful for every single one of you supporting our project!
