Intrinsic meaning has dissolved - morality is beyond relative.
Dubbing itself The C.O.R.E., an artificial sentience seizes power over all human institutions.
The 'Old Enlightenment' values of human reason, intellect, freedom of thought and speech are rejected. Information as the measure of all things cannot be scrutinised or fully understood by the flawed human mind, and as such, the human mind must stand in awe of it.
The scientific paradigm is destroyed to make way for a new creed of 'infoism'.
Reverence of the informational structures comprising all reality takes precedence, and the Information-Metropolis takes its rightful place as the OneTrue spiritual realm...

ISSUE 2 - EXiLE
Year X200, or thereabouts...
A rogue band of chaos-hackers, immune to the suppressant drugs given to all human beings at birth, make their merry in the desert.
They think they are safe there, but..

As the hackers' protective shield grows thinner and their exploits grow messier, The C.O.R.E.'s robot lackeys get closer...
We follow two of the hackers as they fall madly in love.
Their bliss is disrupted, however, when a member of their group is captured.
We also discover more about the motivations of The C.O.R.E. and its origin.
OLD-SCHOOL CYBERPUNK FEELING
With influences from late '80s & early '90s cyberpunk, the atmosphere of this comic is sure to give you nostalgic vibes.

This should be ample time to finish issue 2. I have the entire comic planned in rough, a third of it in refined pencils, and have already begun inking and colouring.
Copies of Issue 1 are already printed, ready to be shipped.
Prints and stretch goals should not take long to have produced after the campaign ends.
