Who are we?
ReArt festival was created in 2014 when a little group of big enthusiasts decided that they all had the same ideas about culture, places to see or to hang out at in their small town. The idea started to grow and eventually, five years ago, at the start of summer, the first ReArt festival was created. Ever since then, the residents get an opportunity to see their town in a different light thrice a year; starting with the smaller spring version "ReArt Picnic", while celebrating the Earth Day, then at the main summer festival in June and during the winter ReArt enjoying the Christmas atmosphere.
What is ReArt about?
Our wish is to create an environment in which artists and creative people can present themselves to big audience but also connect with each other. Every year we invite a large number of artists; professionals and amateurs to exhibit their sculptures and installations.
Apart from a handful of works of art displayed at the festival itself, ReArt also opens to visitors completely new, different experiences of their town, historical sites or town parks. We encourage creativity and innovation of neglected spaces and thus create a new perspective of space by exploring the artistic and cultural context.
With all this content the story is also supported by all that jazz! Watching a handicraft fair, finding new hobbies among many workshops, listening to interesting lectures, or even performances is spiced up with the music performed by young, alternative but also professional bands and DJs.
Why crowdfunding?
To make sure our guests and staff have the strength for the long journey through the galaxy that is ahead of them, we would like to provide them much needed food and refreshments, good music, stellar pictures (who doesn't want to have their galactic picture framed?) etc. Since ReArt is a nonprofit festival, this year we decided to take a step forward and invite you to create this fantastic lush story with us! In order to achieve these wishes and ideas, we need your help.
Other ways you can help
You like the idea and you want to help, but your wallet doesn't want to cooperate? Not a problem! You can mention us on social networks, tell your friends about us, or support us through the whole festival by volunteering with us!
