About My Daughter

Hello everyone,

My name is Tricia Norman. As you may have heard through the media, my daughter, Rebecca Sedwick, took her own life in September after being the victim of constant cyberbullying at the hands of some classmates. Some of you may be familiar with the pain of losing a loved one, especially so suddenly, and the financial strain of funeral costs. I have set up this page to ask for your help during this difficult time. 

What Is Needed

Any funds collected up to our goal of $5,400 will go toward the cost of Rebecca’s funeral, including:

• Casket
  
• Basic funeral home receiving and service costs
  
• Grave site opening and closing
  
• Opening the ground
  
• Lining of the grave
  
• Cemetery plot
  
• Headstone
• Indiegogo fees

The goal of this campaign is to raise $5,400 to pay for the costs of Rebecca’s funeral. I will donate any funds collected beyond $5,400 to The Jaylens Challenge Foundation. They are a local non-profit dedicated to promoting awareness and prevention of bullying through education and community service.
