Cyclists who ride in congested cities are naturally concerned about safety. On most occasions we stay ‘curb side’ to avoid the potential of a head on collision. Gladly, in London TfL have supported this by establishing green or blue cycle lanes.
Unfortunately casualties are still too high with many cyclists deaths caused by lorries turning left. These collisions are not deliberate and many haulage owners try to help by plastering yellow signs on their lorries to warn cyclists against filtering on the inside even though the highway code allows it.

To raise awareness of this issue I’ve decided to create some signage of my own and have designed 3 cool tee shirts.

The Shirts
I’ve sourced 100 percent cotton tee shirts and produced these three designs. They look great on or off the bike. I’ve got sizing covered and can offer small to double XL. If I reach my target I will write to every contributor giving more detail about sizing and ask for your choice.

The Charity
I’ve joined up with a great charity called Roadpeace who support families of road crash victims as well as campaign for safer roads.

Who am I?
Hi I'm Joseph. I am an 18 year old student, passionate about bringing cycling casualties to the forefront of people's attention and promoting a mutually safer road environment for users. I am both a cyclist and a driver and understand there are issues on both sides that can contribute towards collisions. However the issue I have is that the government and haulage businesses in particular believe they can solve these issues with very aggressive anti-cyclist signs. These usually sound like: "CYCLISTS stay back" or similar. This inspired me to create the Redacted T-Shirt campaign, kicking back at these ridiculous vehicle signs.
What We Need & What You Get
The more pledges I can get, the more money goes to charity. Its that simple. I've included an early bird perk for the first 30 shirts in each design which is nearly a 20% discount. There's also a perk for people who wish to support me.
The Impact
Our named charity beneficiary is RoadPeace. You can learn more about their charity on their website at http://www.roadpeace.org/ and see the impact that your pledges will have.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you cannot make a pledge, the best way to help me and the success of this campaign is to share it and get it out there for people to see. Thank you and enjoy redacted clothing.
