Hello!
My name is Stephen Carrillo and I am currently attending film school at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. I have already been in filmmaking for five years, and I plan to keep creating films well beyond school. In order to grow and mature as a filmmaker, I must pursue more and more challenging projects. This will be my biggest project to date, and I am asking for your help!
Filmmaking is a collaborative process: not one person can make a film. So I ask you to read about this film, and attach yourself to it. You can become a vital part of bringing this film to life!
This film follows two close friends: Cameron and William. Outside of town, the boys are stranded on the side of the road due to an empty tank of gas. Cameron is distraught about his midterm essay due the very next day, so he pushes for them to head back into town to get gas and get home. On their way, William gets sidetracked by a couple of attractive girls. The girls are very flirty, and eventually lead the boys into a warehouse, where they are mistaken for members of an American black market organization! William reassures Cameron that they will get out of this new problem, as they are lead into the boss' office. Inside, they meet Qiang, the head of the new black market. The boys are presented with an intriguing device intended to buy over the American organization, but their meeting is interrupted when the real representative bursts in!
The rest is to be revealed...
This project is important to me because it will be an accumulation of all the skills I have acquired in school the past year and will be the first film to be submitted to festivals to get names on the big screen.
For you, the contributor, I hope to instill in you the message that this film has to offer, which will be revealed upon completion =]
Help get the word out! Please share with anyone that would be interested in seeing this film come to life and with enough help from you, we can make this happen!
