Our IndieGoGo Campaign is instrumental in enabling us to become the first entertainment industry based brewery. By helping us get off the ground, it will allow us to support the overall entertainment community while celebrating the hard working men and women of the industry.  

                                           Beer, Beer, and MORE Beer! 

 Our goal is to explore the wonderful world of BEER.  We will start with our core beers... 

Narcissus, IPA

Forced Call, Coffee Porter 

Humility, Red Ale

And we will quickly move into more experimental ales, lagers, and even a cider...we're thinking "Abby Zinger"  for the name.   

We will constantly challenge the taste buds to strive to new heights with creative fun ingredients, and plan to begin our oak barrel aging soon after the brewery opens.  

To start, we need $25,000 to help us begin our contract brewing operation and get our beer out to the masses while building the brewery.  This pledge will be combined with my initial investment of $25,000 to allow us to purchase the ingredients, kegs to deliver the beer in, marketing material, a pilot system for experimental batches, and a canning line to increase retail sales.

The decor of the brewery will be a behind-the-scenes motif of the film & television industry, set inside a beautiful craft beer brewery.  We want to show a unique inside glimpse of who all is involved and what each individual trade does to make the entertainment industry so special. We will embrace the producers, directors, actors, camera, grips, electricians, laborers, construction, set dressers, property, transpo, sound, post, wardrobe, hair, make-up, vendors, etc! and celebrate their efforts, hard work, and dedication to their crafts. 

Inspiration for the Beer Garden: 

We plan to have movies nights and screenings outside in our beer garden, and hold special events, premieres, and wrap parties at the brewery.

        ECONOMIC IMPACT 

• Today, there are more than 450 craft breweries in California and that number is growing.

  JOBS

• California’s craft brewers – as small and independently owned businesses – support 44,000 jobs in a state where unemployment is still recovering.

• One job is created for every 100 barrels of craft beer brewed in California.

• The average salary for an employee in the brewing industry is more than $38,000 a year. (Brewers Association, 2013. Includes major brewers) 

        GROWTH  

• Nationwide the craft brewing industry grew 15% by production and 17% by dollars in 2012 compared to 2011.

The California craft brewing industry continues to grow in a state whose economy is still recovering from the recent recession and facing high unemployment. Throughout California and the nation, the craft brewing industry is increasing production to meet new and growing consumer demand. California’s craft breweries act as local economic engines generating revenue and jobs which in turn are multiplied throughout the local economy – each dollar and job generated directly by craft brewers generates more revenue and more jobs. As the industry grows, so will this total economic impact. However, the success of California’s craft brewing industry remains tied to the policies and regulations in the state that can either foster or impede growth. 

We believe our resolve and dedication to the beer and will help us persevere. We have also joined the movement for raising tax incentives for our state and we plan to be a vehicle to disseminate the valuable statistics of how the entertainment industry is changing.  We support filming worldwide as we love and support everything related to the entertainment industry. However, we must support our home state and push to raise tax incentives and keep filming in CA.
