It Began March 24th, 2014
Jacqueline Goehner's car was broken into while visiting a friend in Oakland, CA. Inside the trunk of her car was a black duffle bag that contained two completed costumes worth almost $4,000. It was stolen from the trunk of her car and though she was able to recover a few pieces of the costume thanks to a kind homeless man named Kalifornia, the remaining pieces are still missing.
This crowd funding is to cover the material cost of the stolen pieces of the "Link" and "Zelda" costumes. Though tools, supplies, and personal items were also stolen, she has made it her top priority to finishing these costumes; funding will go towards real leather, rings for chainmail, silk, boot-making supplies, resin, silicone, notions, buckles, and anything that will help finish these two costumes.
Jacqueline is a dedicated costume designer, artist, cosplayer and a wonderful person with a huge heart. She is always willing and ready to help anyone, and has always been there when needed. As part of her request, we have set up reward levels for anyone who wants an extra incentive for their generosity. Any donation, big or small, is tremendously appreciated!

STRETCH GOAL!!!
We are very pleased to announce that we have made our goal in funding the materials to remake the stolen pieces! Now, our stretch goal is $2,200 to help cover the stolen tools, materials, Jacqueline's prescription contact lenses and glasses, as well as the damages to her car windows. If we make our stretch goal, every contributor will receive a signed 8"x10" print of Jacqueline in her Witchblade cosplay!
Any bit of help is extremely appreciated!
