Why It Matters

USB cable usually frays at the junction between the port and the cord. Once they are frayed, they're potentially dangerous and need to be replaced with a new one.  

A phone cable puts out 5 volts at 5 watts/1 amp (a tablet charger puts out 12 watts/2.1 amps), and while that doesn't sound like much, it's more than enough power to cause overheating and the beginnings of a fire. On top of that, a frayed cable can also cook the battery by causing a short circuit, which again can result in a fire.

1. Can I choose my product's color and connector?

Yes. We offer two colors and three types of connector for you to choose from.

2. Can I choose a different RenewCable connector type and color for each cable I order, even if I order them together as one perk?

Absolutely. You may do so by leaving us a comment with your order number and specifications of color, type of connector, and quantity (e.g. Order #12345; 1 red Android and 1 black Lightning) 

3. How will my order be shipped?

All orders will be shipping with the most suitable premium couriers of their locations. Couriers will vary among different countries. Your shipment will have a tracking number, which will be emailed to you once dispatched.

4. Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to all countries excluding the following which has been flagged by courier services as restricted or high risk: Belarus, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, North Korea, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Syria & Zimbabwe. If you would like a shipment to any of these countries, we will make alternative arrangements that may cost more. However, we cannot guarantee the delivery of shipments to these countries.

5. So did your company actually invent the regenerate technology?

Yes. We own full patents relate to this design and you can read the story about where the idea comes from.

6. Is there likely to be any manufacturing delays like all the other crowdfunded USB cables which have all failed to deliver?

That is unlikely, we will do our best to send the cable to you in a short time after the campaign ended.

12. Will RenewCable affect the charging speed?

RenewCable will not alter any device's charging speed and can handle the maximum charging speed for mobile phones.

REFUND POLICY

You can initiate 100% refunds within the first 8 days of backing an Indiegogo campaign by going to your contributions tab on the Indiegogo page.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Please note all sales are final. Contributing to a campaign and claiming a perk on Indiegogo is not the same as buying a product online. There will be no exchanges or returns for change of mind. If you have a factory defect, please email the Customer Happiness Team on renewcable@longhamtec.com  to arrange an assessment and replacement if deemed defective.

SHIPPING POLICY

If our shipping provider attempts to deliver to your address and the package is returned because of any of these reasons, there will be a reshipping fee: no-one is available to receive the package, the location is not accessible, you've provided the wrong address or you have moved without notifying us before the delivery dispatch.
