Rhythm Lab
A.I.R. Labs will launch a music production class this fall called Rhythm Lab to allow underserved youth in our community to learn how to create their own musical story. Through the creation process, the students will have a better appreciation of music in the ways that it has inspired them and the memories it has created.
We’re raising funds for a pilot course of Rhythm Lab. One of the major upfront costs of this course is the purchase of the software and hardware package from Native Instruments. Purchasing a classroom set of the materials will allow A.I.R. Labs to continue the course for this first class and future students. Going over our goal will create a fund that will provide scholarships to future students who are in financial need.
Why You Should Care
Music programs can be a game-changer and can help provide a positive outlet for underserved teens.
Your Donation
Your support towards our goal would cover the cost of the hardware and software purchase from Native Instruments for a classroom set of materials and tuition for the students for this pilot program of Rhythm Lab. Rhythm Lab will provide instruction to students for 4 weeks with the addition of Open Lab sessions during the course where students will be able to ask for additional help and also explore more of their music and the Native Instruments system.
The students will learn to make their own music and choose a favorite song of theirs to add to our student soundtrack which is available starting at the $50 donation level.
