Robots&Girls™
Robots&Girls™ is a Berlin fashion label that sells techfashion, gadgets, wearables and techtoys in shops with humanoid robots. We need your help to open our first flagship store in the spring of 2018 in the shopping mall BIKINI BERLIN nearby the Zoo in Berlin, Germany.
We are a label that wants to break new ground. Our products will be exclusively available in robot shops. Shops in which a humanoid robot works alone, sells products, individualizes them and even produces them according to customer wishes.
The technology required for this naturally costs a lot of money. We want to have part of this expenditure paid with help from the Robots&Girls crowdfunding campaign, but you can also help us develop new functions and products.
Since we are more than just a simple vending machine and our robots don't want to always join together only 3D puzzles, we are already working on other capabilities that our robots should have. So we are presently working on getting our robots to see and speak, and we are developing our first wearable product: an electronic belt buckle.
Parallel to this crowdfunding campaign and preparations for the opening of our flagship store, we are developing new products for sale in the robot shop. It's about wearables, tech toys, gadgets and tech fashion - Robots&Girls is becoming a fashion label! But more about that later.
We have these and many other ideas in preparation, but we need the help of the “crowd” to implement them. For the hardware, namely computers, motors, sensors, etc., we exclusively use components of proven industrial quality. The software and the robot are developed in teamwork with technicians of our sister company pi4_robotics. And in order to safeguard the robot’s work area, namely the shop, we only use components from recognized manufacturers that comply with the latest industry standards.
Many of the individual components from which our shop is put together have only been rented or borrowed so far, but we want to buy the equipment and to extend it ourselves.
More than 6 years of extensive research, development and partnership-based cooperation have been already standing behind his project. All of this flows into our financing target, which at first glance appears to be very high, but in reality it is not at all.

The next milestone
The next milestone on the way to bringing robots to people is opening with a small party in April 2018 of our flagship store in BIKINI BERLIN, probably Germany's most beautiful concept shopping mall.

Speaking of vouchers: We supply the toybot™ to all crowdfunders, whatever the cost, irrespective of whether we will achieve or not achieve our financing target - promised!
Since it is almost impossible to implement such an ambitious project on our own, we are very happy to be able to work together with reliable partners from the industry. How much are the shipping costs?
Product prices are in EUR and do not include shipping.

Is VAT, TAX, and duty already included in the price?
We want as many people in the world can get our toybot™. Each country, however, has its own customs regulations and tax laws. Since we prefer to invest our money in our products rather than in international tax lawyers, our product prices are without any custom duty or tax of your country. Please feel free to Email us to info@robotsandgirls.de in order to get help with your specific country.
As we are a Berlin-based company, the German VAT is included in the product price.
What is the toybot ID Card?
The toybot™ ID Card is the ID card of your toybot™. It contains the type of toybot™, the edition, the validity date of the QR code for its collection and - only for the gold edition - the serial number. The QR-codes of the e-mail address and the ID Card are identical, you can collect your toybot™ as you wish, with either a print-out of the email or with the ID Card.
