Welcome to our Indiegogo campaign for Rocket Boy.

We are seeking £1,500 to be able to produce our film in precisely the form it was envisaged, and to enable as many people as possible to experience what we think is a story that is as unique as it is surprising. We hope you too see the incredible potential in our film, and we would love for you to get behind us through Indiegogo, which you can do so by donating as little as £3. 

The team working on this project is still growing - with new enthusiasm and skills being added to the project every day.

Cast: We are currently in the process of casting our short film, reaching out to and working with many passionate and keen individuals, kid casting agencies, and local theatre groups. We will be sure to post updates on the cast as and when they are confirmed. The characters of Rocket Boy are as follows:

• OSCAR - Lead role. An enchanting, peculiar young boy that has grown up without the presence of his father from a very young age. He’s head strong infatuated with the idea that his father is an astronaut; playing everyday with his own toy rocket, dreaming upon the day of his fathers return from space.
• TAYLOR  - Stands out amongst all the tall, broad, and bigger kids in the playground; intrigued by Oscar and his toy rocket, results to teasing and pestering when they don't get the attention they believe they deserves
• SANDRA - Child carer. She is a prim and proper, calm yet firm woman who cares after Oscar, Ivy and Jay. She is sorrowful yet hopefully that Oscar will one day “grow up” and stop living in the fantasy that he’s created. 
• IVY - One of the children under Sandra’s care. She’s an excitable individual holding out for her mother’s call to visit her. In turn, she is sightly spiteful over others getting attention from their parents whilst she doesn’t. 
• JAY - Another child living with Oscar and Ivy. A happy soul, thrilled at the thought of his mother finally visiting him and taking him out to get the trainers he has always wanted.

• Signed Screenplay (Exclusive Limited) - We will send you a signed script by the cast and crew of Rocket Boy.
• A3 Poster (Exclusively Limited) - We will send you a glossy, high quality poster.  Designs of which will be posted on Facebook in March 2018.
• Executive Producer (Exclusively Limited) - You'll be credited as an Executive Producer in the film. 
• Oscar's Rocket: (Exclusively Limited) - We will send you Oscar's original toy rocket prop.

As independent filmmakers we know how far even the smallest amount of money can go, and we can assure you that every penny received from this campaign will go towards making the best film possible.

There is a huge list of costs involved when making a film of any length. Here we've briefly explained how we intend to spend the money raised on this project.

Taking care of travel, food, and accommodation for our young actors is vital. The art department will also require a large portion of the funding to create the look of the film. This includes renting locations, dressing sets, building props, and sourcing costumes.

Other costs include renting specialist equipment, insurance, entering film festivals, and fulfilling the Indiegogo rewards.

All your help will be greatly appreciated, and will go towards making the best film we possibly can.

Making films can be tough and things can go wrong. Unforeseen circumstances like bad weather or technical difficulties can throw a spanner in the works. As well as planning for this kind of thing, the team will take every precaution when it comes to health and safety to assure risks are minimized at every stage of production.

Our experienced team are resourceful, flexible, and quick to adapt. Whatever problems get thrown at us, we will do our best to overcome them quickly and professionally.

The enthusiasm and determination of our team, paired with the support and encouragement of our backers, will keep this project going until it's complete!
