There's a staircase facing the party. A few steps ahead, a mighty roar that would frighten even the bravest. Is it dread what you feel? No, it's adrenaline. You're ready to take on whatever awaits you. You climb the stairs and you're on stage. Your instruments are ready, the crowd is growling. What do you do?

For everyone who missed the Kickstarter success, where we reached the funding goal in less than 36 hours, here's another chance to get Rockopolis RPG, the first f*cking Rock 'n' Play experience we're really proud of!

Rockopolis RPG (Rock Playing Gods) is an awesome role playing game where the characters are Rockers climbing their Stairway to Heaven.
Reaching its top means obtaining success. And we all know there's no success without Inspiration.
But, as the story of Rock teaches us, Inspiration usually comes from ill behaviors.
These are the Muses, what will drive you on top of the world... or to your death.

So, you've got an inner Demon that's forcing you towards an abyss of behaviors that go far over the "antisocial" definition, aiming to your self-destruction.
And yet, you still need it: your Muses will be the surge of your music, your inspiration, your art, your ROCK!
How will you manage this struggle?
Will you be able to perform like the best rock stars, avoid all the troubles you and your fellow will cause and get to the top, or will you drive fast on your Highway to hell?

Rockopolis RPG is set in the real world, in the socio-cultural underground of emerging Rock bands.
During the ascent to fame, characters will meet some of the most (in)famous bands of the Rock underground (and they will probably clash!). Will they succeed in achieving international fame or will they fall into the Abyss of anonymity?  

Rockopolis RPG uses a special D6 system, specifically devised to be fast and fun, characteristics that blend well with the Rock spirit of the setting. Moreover, ad hoc rules have been created in order to make the best experience of "playing live on stage" and the management of the "inspiring Muse".
In Rockopolis RPG, the purpose will be to balance the inner demons called Muse with the goal of becoming the greatest Legends of the Stage.

Its UNIQUE On Stage rules will allow you the fantastic experience of playing on a stage like a real Band, joining your forces to get the Applauses you deserve. Be careful: Boos are always a chance, if you don't plan well your gig. What other RPG system allow you all this?

Rockopolis will be available in English and Italian. The English version will be available in the first quarter of 2019 to have time to properly translate it.

The Rockopolis book (232 full color pages, A4 format, hardback) includes:

Another UNIQUE feature of Rockopolis are its Muses.

Italian version is already available and will be distributed shortly after the end of the campaign to all our backers.

English version of Rockopolis, both digital and physical copies, will be distributed through DriveThruRpg.
English version will come approximately in January 2019, to have time enough to properly translate it (we are using professional translators).

Gilbert Gallo - Writer and Game Designer

Like any superhero wannabe, Gilbert has a secret identity: during the day he helps people with his healing powers, while at night he creates fantastic universes where incredible characters live out amazing adventures. For some years now he has devoted himself to writing manuals, settings, and adventures for tabletop RPGs. Currently, he works freelance for a number of publishers.
He has created and contributed to more than 20 titles published in several languages, among them English, Polish, and Italian.
He’s the proud father of two children who are his greatest source of inspiration. Besides RPGs he writes novels, comics, and a lot of crazy projects that could save the world from the next alien invasion.

The main challenge is to satisfy all our backers, trying to get the highest possible quality result.

Italian version is ready to be shipped and we're working now on the English one. We have a detailed time schedule to complete the work, print and ship within estimated dates. 
Everything is lined up, and we've worked (and will work) hard to prevent any possible obstacle. 
We try to compensate our inexpertise with our best efforts.
