I'm Brandon Johnson, and I really like marble games. I've made custom levels for many popular marble rolling games and even released huge cohesive custom level packs, featuring over 200 unique levels.
None of them had all of what I wanted in a marble game condensed into a single package though. What I was asking for was very specific:
- Online multiplayer for racing or competition
- Out-of-the-box custom level support with a workshop for sharing creations
- In-game global leaderboards for courses and stages
- Spectating
- Replays
- The character in the ball will break free and escape your computer
- ...actually, not that last one.
So, I decided to make my own game to meet my needs!

I'm passionate about this, and so are my friends! They have gotten together to help me in many different ways to make this project a reality. But if I were to break our contributions down to the primary, 'core' team, well.. here we are!

Brandon Johnson is the lead designer (backgrounds, levels, gameplay, and more!) and writer. He has very strong opinions on videogames.

Mike is the lead programmer, and basically the reason we're here right now. He's responsible for any complex systems in the game, like our custom level support!

Laurence is the lead artist. They're very talented!!! They're the one responsible for many of the adorable animals you've seen, as well as most of the drawings on this page.
...hey, come on! Don't laugh! We're all young 20-somethings, so give us a break!
Also, here's a list of all the wonderful people who have helped us so far!
- Jo
- Abi
- Upy
- Frankie
- Peter
- Nathan
- Umm... well, there are lots! Thank you guys!!!

Like I said, we're all young 20-somethings. Just making a living today is rough!! For the most part, the funding will be going to basic needs, such as rent and bills for our primary team members, so we can work on the game as much as possible. But these funds will also allow us to pay artists we commission (painters, musicians, etc). After all, the art is very important too! If a game has no heart in its art, then people won't want to play it very much, no matter how good the mechanics are.

Naturally, some of the money will go to taxes, processing fees, etc.
Meeting our goal would allow us to work on the game a great deal more than we can currently. I would personally be able to work full-time on it... what? That's unbelievable!!!
Of course, if you support, you will be able to reap the rewards in-game. There shall be titles and special thanks for anybody who supports at all. For those who go above and beyond, we have several tasty offers on the table, such as the chance to work with our team to implement a playable character of your design!

- $30,000 - In-Game Level Editor (MET! THANK YOU!!)
- $40,000 - Party Games (MET?! WHAT! THANK YOU!!)
- $50,000 - Lua Scripting (Oh... we met this one too...?)
- $75,000 - Post-Release Nintendo Switch Port!
We've hit so many of our stretch goals, I can hardly even believe it. We hope we meet everybody's expectations! It's scary to think we might even hit that Switch port goal, but let's shoot for the stars!

Ultimately, we just want to make a fun game. We're passionate and like-minded people, and we want to make a game that not only would we have fun playing, but anybody and everybody.
We have talents uniquely suited to make this real! And so far, we've come a long way in realizing that already. If you want to play it too, hopefully you can help it happen.

...every little thing helps. If this project looks interesting to you, share it with a friend! Post it on your blog! E-mail your boss, or your partner, or a stranger you've never even met. Put the URL to this page on a scrap piece of paper, stuff it in a bottle, and cast it out to sea. Seriously, this stuff helps more than you can imagine.
