Roses is a genre-blending short film, mixing dark comedy with elements of psychological thriller and horror. If you've ever had neighbors or lived in a suburb, then you already know or relate to the struggle of Roses' main character Dave. It exaggerates the common feud between neighbors and their front lawns to the extreme, providing a satirical but also haunting experience for the audience.

A film of this grandeur and scale couldn't be made without a budget. Dave's immaculate front lawn, a beautiful red rose bush and a gruesome final scene all call for special talent and special equipment. The crew is fortunate to already have access to professional-grade gear and software to make it through pre-production, but the film doesn't end there. With your help and support via Indiegogo, Roses can:
- Invest into snacks and catering for it's crew while they film and work hard
- Compensate professional, Vancouver local union actors for their time and performance
- Expand the art, production design and overall quality of the film
- Deliver and distribute the film to festivals and audiences around the world
- Compose an original and chilling score for the film
... and so much more!
