The Story
RSVP is a project that came out of deep seeded anxiety about parties, socialization, and friendships. How many times have you been dragged to a party you didn't want to go to? How many times have you been stuck in idle conversation that you can't seem to escape from? How many times have good intensions back fired in your face?
The energy of the film comes from reaction, one thing after another, not just out of occurrence but from the quirks and eccentricities of every character - although they are familiar types, they are also exaggerations of our fears and desires; the hero, the complainer, the coward, the drinker.
Everyday fears and anxieties rarely actually manifest themselves, but they do keep us in check. The word panic drives a majority of the script not just because of the situation but because the situation calls relationships and behavior, moral behavior, into question. It asks us what reactions and behavior in dire situations say about our everyday lives, our everyday values, and the values of those around us?

What We Need & Where It's Going
Creating in New York is expensive! We want our cast and crew to know they're appreciated and we are supplying them with the best environment and finished product we can! Here's a breakdown of how we would allocate our funds with a fun, thematic graph!
