Samson’s Focused Pattern Technology™ enhances pickup pattern directionality to better target the audio directly in front of the microphone. When activated, all sound that originates outside the focus area is significantly reduced, making the Go Mic Connect ideal for noisy environment communications.

The Digital Noise Reduction algorithm improves your speech articulation by reducing ambient noise in your environment such as computer fans and air conditioners. Continuous and repetitive noise is effectively removed from the microphone input, providing cleaner audio for speech recognition, videoconferencing, gaming, and voice over internet communication.

Why are we doing an Indiegogo campaign?

Samson is an organization that is dedicated to innovating new products that will enhance the lives of our customers around the world. Prior to crowdfunding sites like Indiegogo, we did not have the platform to directly interact with such a wide audience before releasing a product. We decided to create this campaign to give passionate creators the chance to use the Go Mic Connect before it becomes available to the public, as well as validate its place the market.

1. What is the Go Mic Connect?
The Go Mic Connect is a USB microphone that can attach to the top of computer monitor, TV or sit on a desk.

2. What does it do?
Go Mic Connect combines user-adjustable Focused Pattern Technology (FPT) and Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) to create superior digital communication and computer recordings in even the noisiest office and mobile recording environments.

3. What is Focused Pattern Technology™?
Focused Pattern Technology™ uses an adjustable “beam” to target audio directly in front of the microphone, while reducing noise outside of its pickup area

4. What is Digital Noise Reduction?
Digital Noise Reduction is especially effective in reducing constant ambient noise caused by sources such as computer fans and heating and cooling systems.

5. How do I attach my Go Mic Connect to the computer?
The extremely compact Go Mic Connect has 3 adjustable sections of its body, allowing it to be used standalone on a desktop or easily attached to a variety of monitor shapes and thicknesses.

7. Where can the Go Mic Connect be shipped?
We can ship only to the USA for this Indiegogo campaign.

8. When will the Go Mic Connect be shipped?
Early bird units will ship by the end of April 2016. The rest of the units are expected to ship by the end of May 2016.

9. Do I need a special driver to use the Go Mic Connect?
No. The Go Mic Connect uses built-in class-compliant drivers that are built-in to your Mac and Windows OS (make sure you always have the latest OS updates)

10. What is the warranty for the Go Mic Connect?
