This is the SandPiper.
The SandPiper I.S. is a fast-response flow meter which can measure similar air flow parameters as much more expensive spirometers.
These include (but are not limited to):
FVC - Full Vital Capacity : How much air your lungs can hold.
FEV1 - Forced Exhalation Volume : How much air you can exhale within 1 second.
PEF (& PIF) - Peak Expiratory (& Inspiratory) Flow - The Fastest Your Lungs Are Able To Move Air Out and In.
FEV1/FVC - A Percentage(%) value used by doctors to determine how limited is the airflow. For Example, people suffering from COPD may show this to be less than 60%.
FEF25-75 - The average expired air flow during the middle of the test; it is regarded as a more sensitive measure of small airways' narrowing than FEV1.
