I'm trying to raise funds for Pam who will be donating a kidney to her sister on November 12.  Pam is a modest woman of 61 years who lives alone and works as a home health care aide and a house cleaner as her sole source of income.  This campaign is to simply replace the money she will not earn during her six weeks of recovery.

Pam is a volunteer with the Pemi Valley Search and Rescue Team of Franconia, NH.  Two years ago while on a solo hike of Mt. Washington in winter conditions, Pam came upon a man in shorts, a t-shirt and clearly suffering from hypothermia.  Pam was able to get him into warm clothes and convince him to follow her down the mountain.  A few weeks later,  the man sent an anonymous letter and donation to our team, telling a chilling story that he was trying to commit suicide that day, but due to Pam's kindness, persistance and compassion, he survived and sought professional treatment.

Pam is always thinking of others, including now with a kidney donation.  Can we raise $2,500 dollars so that she doesn't have to worry about her expenses?  I'm hoping that we can do this with relatively small donations by a lot of people.  This is a short campaign because I just learned of her economic hardship.

Thank you for anything you can offer, even $5 or $10 is great!
