SUPPORT SATAN'S CELLAR
We need your help to bring the horror anthology, SATAN’S CELLAR, to life in all its glory. We’re talking six horror shorts in 4K cinema production; gory, bloody SFX; 5.1 sound, and a killer gothic rock, punk & heavy metal soundtrack to boot.
Lurking in SATAN'S CELLAR, you will find six short stories. A rock band that turns to witchcraft to win a 'battle of the bands' competition, a dead gangster haunting his nephew with a view to cross the veil between the living and the dead, a vampire trying to lay low by leading a relatively normal life, and a priest bitten by a werewolf torn between good and evil, are just some of the tales this movie has to offer.

MOVIE INFLUENCES
I have been influenced by countless Horror films, but I've always had an unshakable love for trashy 80's Horror. Those films, the characters, and often the kill scenes too, are iconic and timeless. I love the obvious franchises such as A Nightmare on Elm St, Friday 13th, Halloween, Child's Play, Hellraiser, as well as Critters, The Leprechaun, House, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Class Of Nuke 'Em High....the list is endless.
I also adored the music in The Return Of The Living Dead, Lost Boys, Trick Or Treat, and the more recent 'Suck'. Punk, Metal, and Horror have always worked nicely together, and that's a tradition I wish to keep and explore further with Satan's Cellar.
Naturally, being an anthology, Satan's Cellar has also been influenced by Creepshow, Tales From The Darkside, Tales From The Crypt, V/H/S, and the legendary The Monster Club (remember that one?). I've also been inspired by The Twilight Zone and modern classic, Black Mirror.
One of these IndieGoGo pages wouldn't be complete without a mood board, right? Let's share some vibes and see if we're on the same page!
MUSIC SOUNDTRACK
I wouldn't be a musician without shamelessly plugging my own band constantly, would I? I'm the founder and rhythm guitarist in the Horror-soaked Gothic Punk / Metal band 'Lesbian Bed Death'.
Our last few music videos were directed, produced, and filmed by the same team making Satan's Cellar. Our music videos are mostly like mini-Horror shorts interspliced with band performance, so making Satan's Cellar was the next logical step. We have a YouTube channel, so make sure you watch a few of our videos. Don't forget to give our new album, Midnight Lust, a spin too!
BUDGET PLAN
In a nutshell, the more money we raise, the better the movie we can make. Every penny will feed the Horror.
The absolute minimum we need in order to make Satan's Cellar to the standard it needs to be is £10,000. It's a huge amount of money, but in the world of film making, it really isn't. My team and I are brilliant at doing a lot with a little (insert 'that's what she said' comment if you must). Seriously, we're frugal, resourceful, and very creative.
£10K goal roughly broken down to give you all an idea
£7k – Filming, camera & lighting crew
£1K – Practical SFX
£1K – Locations hire
£1K – Pre & Post Production/Editing/Sound
