What is a Savvy Cap?

Savvy Cap is a Patent Pending decorative cap that distinguishes your water or soda bottle in a new and clever way. It fits snugly over the existing water or soda plastic bottle cap, gripping it and allowing the cap to operate normally under your Savvy Cap. When you’re finished, you simply remove the Savvy Cap and reuse it over and over.

Why we created Savvy Caps

After years of providing bottled water to guests at our monthly social gatherings, it was clear that the amount of wasted bottled water was far greater than what was actually being consumed. It appeared that guests were drinking half of the water, and leaving behind the half full bottle.

Based on some very unscientific research, we discovered that most of our guests would put their water bottle down, apparently near another bottle which belonged to somebody else. This eventually lead to not being able to decipher which bottle was theirs, subsequently retrieving another one from the cooler.

Savvy Caps was created out of necessity, and ultimately saved many half full bottles of water from being dumped unnecessarily, also saving money and helping the environment at the same time by wasting less bottles and water.

Over 50% of Americans drink bottled water and a lot of that water can be wasted when you find you’re at a party or gathering where more than one person is drinking the same brand of water. How do you identify what bottle is yours?

We Did Our Homework!

After more than two years of research, we finally came up with the perfect solution that is functional, fun and decorative. In the beginning, we used many different materials and sources, hoping to realize a final product that we knew would work with most any size water bottle cap. Finally we have come up with the perfect design, which will work on most any water bottle cap, and will twist it open! No more loosening up the lid first!

Savvy Caps will give you a unique way to identify and individualize a generic bottle of water or soda while adding style at the same time. This will save the party host money, and will add some decorative fun to an ordinary plastic bottle...not to mention helping the environment at the same time by wasting less bottles and water.
