Who Are We?

Welcome to Scaredycast. Yep, those are the first words you usually hear when you tune into the podcast every Monday morning. Scaredycast was launched in January of 2017, we've been at this thing for quite a while now releasing more than 270 episodes, along with YouTube video content like ghost hunting, movie location features, and more.

Since May of 2022, we decided to lock in and try to make this show what the three of us do for a living. We want to bring spooky horror content to the masses while having some laughs and providing a much needed escape for people to dive into. Since May of 2022 we have released a new episode of Scaredycast every single Monday morning, while also releasing content onto our Patreon for our supporters over there.

What Are We Looking To Do?

We want to put into production a lineup of web shows for YouTube. Scaredyquest will see us venture out into the unknown to search for ghosts, UFOs, bigfoot, and any weirdness we can find. Here's a breakdown of that, and other content we have in store.

• Scaredyquest Season 1: While we already have a few episodes made, we want to launch into a full season of this show. It will see 6 episodes taking us around haunted locations, UFO hot spots, cryptid sighting locations, weird roadside attractions, and more.
• Horror Evening News: Every night curl up with a recap of all the spooky news from the day! Horror movie news, hauntings, UFO sightings, if it was weird and spooky in the news that day, we'll break it down for ya!
• Hunting for Horror Season 1: We head out to find the coolest and most extravagant horror collections in the world. We want to showcase horror fans passions and show off their amazing creations.
• Two Scaredycasts: We may split Scaredycast into two shows. Mondays would be episodes about spooky happenings, ghosts, aliens, all that creepy stuff, while later in the week another episode will drop solely focusing on horror movie reviews and news.
• Live Streams: Horror games, table top games, IRL streams of ghost investigations, UFO watching, and more. We want to bring everyone with us on a live stream adventure.
• The Deep End Season 1: Revisiting topics we've discussed on episodes of Scaredycast but diving deeper into the details, uncovering new evidence and discussing updated details.

• Road Vlogs: Funds will help us out with a bit of traveling. We hit horror cons and horror events around the country and we want to film the entire adventure at each spot. One such task is driving from Phoenix to Indianapolis for Days of the Dead. Filming at any and all weird roadside attractions we come across, and documenting the entire journey there, and back.

• Celebrity Collabs: Interviews with some of your favorite horror celebs in person. When we get to attend these events we will have a chance to sit down and chat with some of the horror celebs who are also attending conventions with us. From general convos, to hot sauce taste tests, we'll be sure to make each collab something unique.

• Scaredycast Live: Bringing our podcast to the stage on a mini tour. Get up on stage and get weird with us as we record an episode of the show live in person at venues local to Arizona, but also around the country as we visit other cities for conventions and more.

If we do not reach our goal, we plan on using any money raised from the campaign to put toward our goals of making as many of the shows and pieces of content listed above as we can.

Giving Back To Others

We've been at this a long time and we know the hill is steep. With these funds we will be purchasing equipment to help us produce the content we have planned, but we also want to help other creators. Aspiring podcasters, YouTubers, and content creators can come to us to get our assistance with creating their own content with our equipment and studio. We want all creators out there hitting their goals and dreams and are wanting to use any success we find to do that. We also want to help by holding events like live shows, ghost hunts, and more, where local creators can set up to sell their own creations at no cost to them, and keeping 100% of their profits earned.

Times are tough, and we fully know money can be tight so helping out financially isn't always an option. So we just ask to help spread the word about this campaign, our show, and other amazing creators in the space. We want to pull everyone up with us as we rise up.

What If You Don't Meet Your Goal?

We have some pretty high ambitions so reaching the goal isn't something we expect, but we hope! With IndieGoGo we can keep whatever amount is raised, so if we only raise $100, that $100 will still go towards costs to help with the show! Any amount raised is going to be a huge assist to our hopes and dreams of expanding what we do, so any dollar amount that we can raise here will go towards them.
