I am Zeus Cruz, Founder and Creative Director of Olympian Multimedia, who conducts business with this thought in mind: You Design, We Create. I formed the business to offer a cost effective alternative for individuals looking to create innovative content while incorporating all facets of media under one interface. I felt it was important to build such a platform for ones to explore their artistry and develop their ideas in an affordable way. Over time, I thought it would be in the best interest of the business to slowly transition into product development, where I started to project build a concept that could greatly assist our operations in more than one way. Part of our business entails music production and interaction with people. Through research, it was concluded that cost and resources needed to create a soundproof environment would take time and upfront capital that might be detrimental to the operations of the business. Having such an environment would help immensely in developing our sound and creating an atmosphere where clients and us alike can be more productive. From here, I thought on a more larger scale about not just being soundproof, but sound free to its minimum state. The ramifications of this device can also exceed the world of creativity as well. Someone close to me lost 70% of their hearing and suffers from manic acute anxiety, which is contributed from long exposures of high pitch frequencies and abrupt noises. Further analysis of our research determined that high decibels of sound can also lead to increased heart rate and high blood pressure, which can result in a heart attack or stroke. It was definitely to our surprise that something as simple as sound waves can contribute to multiple health risks and conditions. These findings hit very close to home! In a subtle way, such a device could not just assist in the creative field, but in the health field as well, both physically and mentally. And so my determination to create such a product is at a all time high, for I feel many individuals and points of interest could benefit from this. The funding needed to create this device would be between $5000-$10000. The funding would allow us to move along the development process.from designing a demo through simulation modes to a working prototype. Long term, I believe the pros outweigh the cons, for it could be utilized in so many different ways, both professionally and medically. I hope by viewing this you can see the value of such a product.
