Short Summary

"Sclera" is a film based slightly on the writer and producer Anna Thornton. This short film is her senior project and her first time producing her own work. The main character Isabella finds her once orderly life falling apart after she feels something fall into her eye. While she knows something is not right, no one else around her seems to believe that to be the case. "Sclera" is a raw look into the psyche of an overworked college student, desperate to keep her life on track.

What We Need & What You Get

Because this film is classified as an Independent Study, the college does not supply any equipment or funding for production. Your donation will ease the financial burden on the college students who have worked tirelessly on this film and spent their own money in an effort to complete the final product. Specifically, any money received from this campaign will recoup the costs of equipment rentals, craft services for our cast and crew, wardrobe, makeup, props, as well as provide funding for festival submissions upon completion of the final cut.

The Impact

This project and experience has been full of challenges and growth. For the writer and producer, this is the first project she has had a major role in creating. This semester is her last, as she is graduating in December of 2018. As producer, Anna has been the primary spender for the project. Your donation helps to ease the financial burden on her as she has spent nearly all of every paycheck to ensure the cast and crew are well taken care of and have all the supplies they need in an effort to do their jobs well. Other crew members have also contributed their own funds to this project, proving how passionate they are that this film is the best it could possibly be. Your donation helps to show everyone involved that this entire process truly was worth it in the end.
