SCORE will break down scores for their memorable constructions, and explore the anatomy of a compelling score and what it takes to write a score that echoes in moviegoers' heads for decades.

PRODUCTION CREW

We're a team of Emmy Award-winning journalists, producers and photographers who started a company specifically to produce this documentary. Now called Epicleff Media, we're composed of seven people:

• Matt Schrader (director) is an Emmy Award-winning producer and a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He has worked as a special projects producer for media and news agencies including CBS News and NBC in Los Angeles. His news stories have changed laws and resulted in millions of dollars returned to consumers and citizens. Prior to CBS, Matt helped found the Southern California Business Film Festival with Jonathan Willbanks, a producer on SCORE. Matt can be reached at ms@epicleff.com.
• Trevor Thompson (executive producer) is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and a graduate of USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Thornton School of Music. The son of BMI Award-winning composer Tim Thompson, Trevor’s creative journalism and powerful human interest pieces have broadcast on stations across the country as well as CNN. • Robert Kraft (producer) is the former President of Fox Music, which produced Avatar, Titanic and Moulin Rouge under his direction. An Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated composer in his own right, Kraft also co-produced all of the Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning songs in “The Little Mermaid,” including the Academy Award-winning song “Under The Sea.” Kraft was elected to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ Board of Governors, Los Angeles Chapter and is a member of the Music Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and he is Co-Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Harvard Office for The Arts. He has lectured on film music at Harvard, Stanford, Brown, NYU, UCLA, USC and Syracuse. In 2012, he was appointed the Visiting Professor of Music and Media to the Berklee College of Music’s International Campus in Valencia, Spain. In 2013, Kraft was brought in to Warner Bros. Records as the Soundtrack Consultant for the label.
• Jonathan Willbanks (producer) is a producer, entrepreneur and technologist who has consulted and spearheaded distribution for more than a dozen independent films. A graduate of USC's Business and Cinematic Arts joint program, his experience includes marketing and distribution for Disney Channel and The Moving Picture Institute, and technology-driven roles with GE, Apple and Verizon. • Kenny Holmes (director of photography) is a national award-winning news and entertainment photographer at NBC Los Angeles. His photography has won six major regional awards, including three Emmys for his videography, an LA Press Club Award for Outstanding Personality Profile, and a National Press Club Award.
• Nate Gold (director of photography) is a director of photography and producer having worked on commercials, music videos, and features internationally. He is a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. In 2010, he founded and now operates SoundBite Studios, a music studio facility in Los Angeles specializing in helping high-profile artists and creatives refine and realize their craft.
• Crystal Chavarria (associate producer) has had her work appear in productions for Disney, NBC, CBS, The CW and Showtime. She is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in film production and production designed and costume designed award-winning student films. 

Together our team has won six Emmy Awards, four SoCal Journalism Awards, two RTNDA Awards and the prestigious National Press Club Award for videography.
